I finally submitted a photo of my sweater for the local fiber arts show. I still haven't put the buttons on, and I have some loose ends to weave in.
I found some toggles at the yarn store. The color was perfect, but they are plastic. They were not cheap to purchase, but I felt it was better to keep looking around.
I rummaged through my drawers and found wooden ones. I think I'll use these.
I was able to watch myself as this project progressed, and learned a few things about myself. Now, I see how I just go into a tunnel when I'm making something and neglect everything else. I did force myself to cook healthy meals, but even then, I was so out of sync that I made bad food. Luckily, I found a little shop that offers entrees and side dishes to bring home.
Today, I had to submit a photo of the sweater, a short bio and an artist's statement. I also am required to present a head shot. I did everything minus the head shot. We'll see if they press me for that. I suppose I can send them one of my KYC selfies I took for a crypto exchange.
