LIV 5 - 1 TOT: We are the new Champions of England.

The last time I watched Liverpool play is the week we got knocked out of Champions League by PSG and also lost the FA Cup to Newcastle. Liverpool legit shot themselves on the leg that week and I've been taking a break from watching football since then.
Well, it's almost two months since then and Liverpool has moved up the EPL table since then till this moment. For today's game, Liverpool are playing at Home against Tottenham. A Draw is all Liverpool need in this game to win the Premier League this season and fans were full of anticipation for this particular game.
Anfield was blazing and buzzing with red flares as Liverpool fans and players walked in to watch today's game.

First Half.

Tottenham led in the goalscoring by getting the first goal of the game in the 11th minute. The goal was a smooth header from Solanke through a corner kick. Conceding an early goal is exactly what Liverpool don't want in a game like this.
Liverpool bounced back almost immediately and in a stylish fashion. Diaz scored a goal which was disallowed by the onfield referee. However, VAR got involved and awarded the goal to Liverpool.
Liverpool scored an additional goal and the goal also got disallowed. This time around, VAR didn't get involved.
Liverpool scored two more goals for the rest of the first half and these goals were undeniable. Macca and Cody were the ones that got those goals that pushed the scoreline to 3 - 1 in favor of Liverpool before half time break.

Second Half.

While the entire first half is filled with goals, the second half also had moments of brilliance that subsequently led to Liverpool scoring two goals to completely finish off Tottenham.
Salah got his goal in this half of the game thanks to an assist from Szobo. He celebrated that goal exactly how you would expect and even got to take selfies with a fan's phone during his celebration.
The final goal was a touch away from being an additional goal by Salah. However, that didn't become the case because Udogie, a Tottenham player, intercepted the cross and scored an own goal.
I'm still watching Liverpool's celebration after winning this game by 5 - 1 to officially become the Champions of 2024/2025 Premier League. It's an interesting feeling to see that happen after so long.
Congratulations to all Liverpudlians.
