En Redes o Enredados Sociales

Es un placer acercame por primera vez y compartir estas reflexiones a cerca de las Tecnologías de la Comunicación e Información y el uso que hacemos de estas, es una forma de sistematizar horas de debates en un Diplomado de Comunicación e Información en el que participé hace un par de años.
Espero contribuya la reflexión.
Quise escribir este artículo a propósito de celebrarse el 97 Aniversario de la 1.ª Transmisión de radiotelefonía de larga distancia entre EE. UU. y Reino Unido, son casi 100 años de avances tecnológicos relacionados con la comunicación a nivel global, aunque es realmente en la década de los 70 cuando se sientan las bases en lo que respecta a las Tecnologías de la Comunicación e Información o TIC.
Es desde entonces cuando inicia una transformación importante en nuestra sociedad, ciertamente las TIC son en esencia recursos tecnológicos que nos hacen la vida fácil si hablamos de los avances en multiplicidad de servicios y entre otras cosas nos permiten acercarnos e interactuar con otras personas alrededor del mundo mientras disfrutamos de una tasa de café en el sillón favorito de nuestra casa.
Es impensable una plataforma bancaria sin tecnología, ni hablar del mundo cripto y qué sería de nuestras vidas sin las transferencias, pago móvil, biopago, sería volver a la triste historia de largas filas en las entidades bancarias para retirar dinero en efectivo.
Y si de interacción, comunicación y entretenimiento se trata, vamos a detenernos más adelante a mirar con lupa las redes sociales y obviamente a sus usuarios.
Estas plataformas son maravillosas porque nos dan la posibilidad de comunicarnos en tiempo real con familiares, amigos, conocidos, desconocidos y nos da esa sensación de cercanía, aunque sea a través de una pantalla.
Con estas tenemos la posibilidad cierta de formar parte de la celebración y momentos importantes de nuestros seres queridos que están al otro lado del mundo, vemos su cotidianidad y nos acompañamos en la distancia.
En definitiva, vivimos en un mundo globalizado, en el que la informática, electrónica y las telecomunicaciones juegan un papel protagónico, así como la sociedad de la información, a diario vemos una inimaginable cantidad de datos de todo tipo, al alcance de quienes tienen acceso a la tecnología.
Ahora bien, el hecho de que haya mucha y variada información, y cada vez haya más posibilidades y medios para la recopilación, el procesamiento, almacenamiento y transformación de la misma, no quiere decir que sea mejor y más aprovechada que en el pasado, puesto que aunque parezca paradójico vivimos en una sociedad en la que la mayoría de las personas está desinformada, desvinculada y desinteresada del mundo real.
Pero, ¿a qué se debe esto?
Veamos:
Las TICs, tienen como objetivo generar conocimiento que en adelante modifica la cotidianidad de la sociedad, así que su acelerado avance y la actualización de la información nos lleva a hacer lecturas rápidas, es decir, se analiza menos, siendo imposible procesar y asimilar.
Adicionalmente, a la hora de profundizar en algún tema, tendemos a ubicar documentos de análisis y asumimos posturas y opiniones ya construidas desde las redes sociales.
Eso desde la perspectiva general, pero en nuestras vivencias diarias, ¿cómo es la interacción social a través de las redes y cómo nos hacemos parte de la sociedad de la información?
Particularmente, he dejado de dedicarle tiempo a ciertas redes sociales y cada vez es menos frecuente la actualización de mis perfiles, esto debido a que veo de forma crítica las publicaciones.
Si bien es cierto que podemos encontrar información muy valiosa, no es menos cierto que invertimos demasiada vida en entretenimiento vacío y a veces sin sentido, pasamos horas deslizando el dedo en la pantalla del teléfono o tablet sumergidos en un trance cibernético y al final no nos preguntamos cuál ha sido el saldo positivo de este tiempo.
El wifi nos hipnotiza, quien no ha visto a personas, sobre todo jóvenes, incluso de pie, frente a alguna casa o establecimiento comercial "pegado al wifi" por horas y horas. Interactuando, jugando, actualizando los chismes del primo, la prima, el vecino, viendo que es de la vida del o la ex pareja, uuufff, ¿muy seguido, no?
Y no puedo dejar de mencionar a aquellos cuya toxicidad se refleja en los estados y las historias para atacar, instigar, criticar, exponer a otros que a lo mejor ni siquiera se sienten aludidos, podríamos decir que muchos perfiles se han convertido en espacios para sesiones de confesiones o terapias para los cibertóxicos cuyas publicaciones solo ellos comprenden.
Gente que está más preocupada en los problemas de los demás y no se ocupa en los de su casa y además bombardea con indirectas desde sus perfiles.
Vemos un mundo virtual, ajeno a la realidad, un mundo en el que se compite por la mejor sonrisa, la mejor ropa, el mejor cuerpo y pare de contar, es como ver una serie de televisión, capítulo a capítulo.
Cada quien expone lo que tiene en su cerebro y se muestra ante los demás según le dicte su consciencia, muestra una u otra faceta según el estado de ánimo.
He visto tanto este tipo de perfiles que ya no dedico tiempo en ver historias y estados cualquiera, ahora veo aquellos que buscan compartir ideas y pensamientos, propios y ajenos, pero positivos, que dejan algo para la reflexión y aquellos en los que sé que las sonrisas son auténticas, en los que sea evidente que se comparte la experiencia por el hecho de invitarnos a ver lo positivo y el disfrute de la vida, aquellos que me despierten la curiosidad y sobre todo los que me motiven a seguir investigando, aprendiendo y formando.

In Networks or Social Entanglements
Greetings to all the members of my community!
It is a pleasure to come here for the first time and share these reflections about Communication and Information Technologies and the use we make of them, it is a way of systematising hours of debates in a Diploma in Communication and Information that I did a couple of years ago.
I hope it contributes to the reflection.
I wanted to write this article to celebrate the 97th Anniversary of the 1st long distance radiotelephony transmission between the USA and the United Kingdom, almost 100 years of technological advances related to global communication, although it is really in the 70's when the foundations were laid in terms of Communication and Information Technologies or ICT.
It is since then when an important transformation in our society begins, certainly ICT are in essence technological resources that make our lives easier if we talk about advances in multiple services and among other things allow us to approach and interact with other people around the world while enjoying a cup of coffee in our favorite armchair at home.
It is unthinkable a banking platform without technology, let alone the crypto world and what would our lives be without transfers, mobile payment, biopayment, it would be back to the sad history of long lines at banks to withdraw cash.
And if we are talking about interaction, communication and entertainment, let's take a closer look at social networks and obviously their users.
These platforms are wonderful because they give us the possibility to communicate in real time with family, friends, acquaintances, strangers and give us that feeling of closeness, even if it is through a screen.
With these we have the certain possibility of being part of the celebration and important moments of our loved ones who are on the other side of the world, we see their daily life and accompany us in the distance.
In short, we live in a globalized world, in which computers, electronics and telecommunications play a leading role, as well as the information society, every day we see an unimaginable amount of data of all kinds, available to those who have access to technology.
However, the fact that there is much and varied information, and that there are more and more possibilities and means for collecting, processing, storing and transforming it, does not mean that it is better and more used than in the past, since although it may seem paradoxical, we live in a society in which most people are uninformed, disconnected and disinterested in the real world.

While it is true that we can find very valuable information, it is no less true that we invest too much life in empty and sometimes meaningless entertainment, we spend hours sliding our finger on the screen of the phone or tablet immersed in a cybernetic trance and in the end we do not ask ourselves what has been the positive balance of this time.
The wifi hypnotizes us, who has not seen people, especially young people, even standing in front of a house or commercial establishment "glued to the wifi" for hours on end. Interacting, playing, updating the gossip of the cousin, the cousin, the neighbor, seeing what is the life of the ex-partner, uuufff, very often, isn't it?
And I can not fail to mention those whose toxicity is reflected in the statuses and stories to attack, instigate, criticize, expose others who perhaps even feel alluded, we could say that many profiles have become spaces for confession sessions or therapy for cybertoxic whose publications only they understand.
People who are more concerned about the problems of others and do not take care of their own problems at home and also bombard with hints in their profiles.
We see a virtual world, alien to reality, a world in which we compete for the best smile, the best clothes, the best body, and so on, it's like watching a television series, episode by episode.
Everyone exposes what they have in their brain and shows themselves to others as their conscience dictates, showing one side or the other depending on their mood.
I have seen so many of these types of profiles that I no longer spend time looking at just any stories and statuses, now I see those that seek to share ideas and thoughts, my own and others', but positive, that leave something for reflection and those in which I know that the smiles are authentic, in which it is evident that the experience is shared by the fact of inviting us to see the positive and the enjoyment of life, those that awaken my curiosity and above all those that motivate me to continue investigating, learning and training.
Don't get tangled up, be part of the positive users of Social Networks.
