Hey Everyone!!
Today in the morning breakfast i cooked a very special recipe of egg plant which is very famous in my city. It is known as Baati-Chokha.
The Baati is a wheat flour made round shaped with the cereal and pulses filling in the middle. The Baati is little hard to cook as it need firewood to cook.
The Chokha is the material with which the Baati is eaten. It very easy to cook and this is what i made in the breakfast to eat with the chappatie.
Ingredients-
- 4 Brinjals
- 4 Boiled Potatoes
- 4 Tomatoes
- Garlic
- Onion
- Green Chillies
- Coriander Leaves
- Some Spices
- So to start with, i took four brinjals and washed them properly.
- Then i made little cut outs in them and insert the peeled garlic inside them.
- After that, i applied some oil on Brinjals as well as the tomatoes.
- After applying oil, these are ready for roasting on fire.
- I turn on fire and put the Brinjals and tomatoes on it and roasted it well.
- For the chillies, i used the forks for roasting.
- Roast it till it cooked well from inside. Then let it cool in a plate.
- Once it cools down, i peel out the outer layer of Brinjals and tomatoes.
- Then put them in a bowl along with the garlic and green chillies.
- I also put the peeled boiled potatoes and spices in the bowl.
- Then mashed it well.
- Once it's mashed well, then i added the chopped onion and chopped coriander leaves in it.
- After mixing well everything, it is ready to be served✌.
