Yes, already my second prompt now for the Sept-Amber drawing challenge. I made this half body drawing leaning on a counter holding a glass of cider. Facial hair and unkept look. The prompt is apple cider. But this is not just about the drink. It’s about the guy holding it. Notice the face, the beard, the way he leans on the table. He is feeling tired and dejected but still present, and processing his thoughts while sipping that cider drink. The glass or tumbler is simple, but the vibe it gives is not. A small detail like that spill on the table says a lot about Sam. He does not mind if it’s messy. Life is messy on its own and that is the charm.
Some drawings look dazzling with action and details but not this one. I made it calm, slow, and it makes you stop and look. Maybe he looks familiar like you know him or like you’ve seen him at some bar, lost in deep thought with a drink in hand.
Feels rare. The kind of piece you keep close because it holds a mood you don’t find often.
Keep creating,
