On the weekend, our outreaches continue, I have shared last week about this activity in this blog: Christmas Boxes Came on April! Our last place to do the outreach was in Masayag, the event started at four in the afternoon. The event and box distribution lasted for an hour and a half so when everyone was happy with their box gifts, our volunteers and friends decided to play volleyball as there was a volleyball net just nearby where we had the event.
Matti joined too and even was really enthusiastic about throwing the ball, I made it a point to bring ball toys for him because I know the area has huge grounds used for playing sports by the neighboring children and even adults.
We don't get to always go out and play outdoors so I am glad and happy to see him enjoying his time just out on the grounds. He even initiated that he wanted to drink water after a few minutes of playing and throwing! I was also greatly delighted by the lives of our volunteers as they enjoyed their time after the event. I am glad that they used this time for God's glory.
Ultimately, I am grateful to God that the children to whom we ministered were really responsive and even were excited about our meetup this weekend again. I am looking forward to seeing them again by this Saturday afternoon, at the same time as when we did the outreach. I believe by that time, Matti will be able to play outdoors again together with his papa.
