A praça estava no ritmo de sempre, mas a sessão ganhou um peso diferente quando trombei com nada mais, nada menos que Bern Bernardo, dono de um dos rolês mais pesados do Rio de Janeiro.

Today's session was heavy! We went to one of the most complete spots in Rio, a true skateboarding playground, full of possibilities to film those insane tricks. And to make it even more special, we had the legendary Anthony Caravall in the house—a guy who helped shape the skate scene worldwide and is still going strong, always involved in the culture.

The sun was relentless, the air was still, and the ground was burning hot in Rio. Even so, Maurício Nava, Daniel Kickflip, and Eyooobrush pulled up to MAM for another heavy session. The exhaustion hit, but the urge to skate was stronger. Between tricks, laughter, and pure persistence, what remained was the fun and the energy of the spot.

Sacred Wednesday afternoon at Praça XV, the ultimate skateboarding temple in Rio de Janeiro. Scorching sun: 38 degrees on the thermometer, but it felt like 45. Just another day for those who live the carioca summer. In the backpack, only the essentials: the ACTIONZINHA, 2 liters of water to face the heat, and the drive for the 500 miles to the best skateboarding spot in the world.

I currently use a Sony a6500 to capture skateboarding sessions and tricks, but I’m limited by the lack of a fisheye lens, which is essential to convey the aesthetic and visual language characteristic of skateboarding.
