Hello, friends! I've been busy lately because I recently joined a poster-making contest in Danao City, and I managed my time between practice and study. This event or competition was conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for the Fire Prevention Month Celebration with the theme "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa!" (In fire prevention, you are not alone) in English.
Last week, our school received an invitation from the BFP, informing us that they would be holding a drawing and poster-making contest. Our principal selected students to represent our school, and my best friend and I were among the six participants. The elementary students participated in the drawing category, while we seniors participated in the poster making category.
Last Friday, March 24, in the afternoon, was the day of our competition, and I was so excited because it was my first time joining this type of competition since I had only joined and competed within the school before. We were given three hours to finish our work, and it was really enjoyable. I had a great time at the event, and they even gave us snacks after we finished our drawing and poster, as well as a certificate of participation. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but I'm happy and honored to have participated. This was indeed a great experience for me, and I will always remember and apply the fire prevention lessons that I learned in my life.
