For this post, I bring you something kinda weird... I bring you my path on learning to ride an electric unicycle. It's a vehicle most people find weird cause they don't see anyone riding one of these on the streets. Why? Mainly for 3 reasons:

But well, despite all of this, I wanted to try one because the freedom of movement, the simplicity and the commodity it's advertised by lots of videos on the web. I searched on the online secondmarket on my zone, looking for a basic wheel for beginners, so if I finally didn't liked it, I wouldn't have much trouble reselling it for more or less the same price I paid. This one was the one I found:

It was sold at 250€, but if I paid 80€ more, I would have 2 extra batteries that would make wonders on long travels to increase autonomy.

Here you can see her (her?) in my possession.

Isn't she cute? 😍😍 As you can see, it's very damaged on the exterior, normal thing if you consider that this type of vehicle hits the ground lots of time in the beginning of the learning stage (and more considering this wheel is used for people who wants to learn without spending 1500$/2000$).

I took her to the terrace and I started practicing rotating with one foot.

After that, I practiced moving forward and backwards while leaning against a wall.

Finally, I embraced the gods and I put my life on the line, and tried to go without leaning on anything 😈 😈

After some good 2 hours of practice, I can ride the unicycle for 2/3 seconds before falling, but I have no control on the direction yet. I can't control her, she dominates me.😏

For the part 2 of this post, I think I'll be good enough to ride it with 0 limitations, just like a bicycle.

Para esta entrada, os traigo algo un poco raro... Os traigo mi aprendizaje con el monociclo eléctrico. Es un vehículo que a la mayoría de personas les parece raro, ya que no se ve a casi nadie por la calle con uno de estos, principalmente por tres motivos:

Pero bueno, a pesar de todo esto, quería probar alguno debido a la libertad de movimiento, la simplicidad y la comodidad que prometen todos los videos que hablan sobre ellos. Me metí en el mercado de segundamano online de mi zona, buscando una rueda básica, para novatos, por lo que si al final no me gustaba, no sería difícil revenderla de nuevo. Esta fue la que encontré:

La vendía a 250€, pero si le pagaba 80€ más, me daba dos batería extra que vendrían de perlas para llevarlas en la mochila en viajes largos, si se se me acababa la batería.

Como veis, está bastante dañada por el exterior, pero es normal en este tipo de vehículos ya que al principio, la gente se cae mucho😆

Me la llevé a la terraza y empecé a practicar movimientos circulares con un solo pie

Luego practiqué el moverme para adelante y atrás apoyado en una pared

Después de eso, recé muy fuerte y fui en plan kamikaze 😈 😈

Después de unas 2 horas de práctica, puedo estar sobre el monociclo unos 2/3 segundos, pero no puedo ir recto 😔 Yo no la domino a ella, ella me domina a mi 😏 😏

Para la parte 2 de este post, creo que seré lo suficientemente bueno como para llevarla sin limitaciones, como una bicicleta.
