My mom was the type of woman who loved when people praised her kids. I think it made her proud of how well she raised her children. I and my siblings always looked good and neat, and we had no choice but to come top of our classes. It was actually nice to be every child's wannabe in the neighborhood, but things were soon to change, as I grew up to have different hobbies than what my mother had dreamed for me.

SourceJimmy was always the quiet and timid type of person. He was a typical loner at school, as no one, not even his classmates who were bullied associated with him. He would go to school alone, and after a rough day with his classmates who always bullied him, he would return home alone again. Not once did he ever complain about the maltreatment, and he also never tried to fight back, instead he took in the bullies, and did whatever form of punishment he was given. But one thing stood out in Jimmy's life; after all he had to go through at school, he was still top of his class, and this angered his classmates and they made him write assignments for them, but that didn't change his reputation for always coming top of the class.

Hello everyone, I welcome you to my blog. I've been on this platform for some time now, and I haven't made an entry. So it's my first time of actually doing this, and I hope you all enjoys it.For this week's context, I've chosen to do the song 'DANCING WITH YOUR GHOST' by SHASHA SLOAN. This song explores the concept of pain that follows the loss of a loved one. It conveys that feeling of moving on, but still holding on to the memories of a loved one who is gone.

Out of five children, I was the first child of my parents, and the world was more than a pleasant place for us. My parents were wealthy enough to cater to the needs of their kids, as well as the needs of outsiders who needed their help. I had the best childhood anyone could ask for; we lacked for nothing and I never imagined that a day would come when I'd have to lift a finger to work for money. Well, I guess you'd call that a childish thought, but it stemmed from my dad's promising words to me and my siblings.

A lot of persons have ended up to be in a bad spot because of misplaced priorities before marriage. Some people marry because of money, some do it because of the looks of their partner. You'll hear someone say "I need an attractive partner so my kids can be cute." Well, it goes beyond of all these, and if you ask me, I'd say that getting married to a friend isn't still the solution to getting a good marriage experience.

SourceBeing an only daughter with four elder brothers wasn't all rosy for Ella. She couldn't deny the fact that they were sweet and kind to her, and they always protected her from harm. But despite all of these, Ella felt suffocated at home as her brothers always left the house chores to her. She would clean the house, and help out in the kitchen, and when their parents went to work, she'd stay home and babysit the twins who were barely a year old. It was frustrating for her; she loved her brothers no doubt, but she wished they could just help out with the chores sometimes.
