KISS - sorting through a mountain of clutter

In my case, order causes emotional well-being, but when I can't have it for some reason it becomes a reason to be uncomfortable. Especially when I have a routine to avoid disorder and I can't do it for reasons beyond my control. That happened to me these last few days and the truth is that it made me a little bit stressed.
Where we live and several parts of the country in general, there have been problems with electricity, there has been rationing and the power goes out at least once a day for several hours. This is a problem but it is bearable because we can get everything else done early before the electricity is cut off. The problem is that since the areas around where we live have power failures at other times of the day, the water pumps that supply the area are turned off most of the day.
This has made water a big problem and without water, there is not as much cleanliness as one would like. But what always affects me the most is the dirty clothes, when I see the laundry basket fill up without the immediate possibility of stopping it, I feel that this is the greatest degree of disorder that can be in my house. Although we don't have an excessive amount of laundry, when it is dirty for some reason it becomes a huge mountain.
So just these past few days we managed to get some water because we borrowed a pump and I was able to wash all those clothes. Well I now had a mountain of clothes to pick up, and to sort through. Although clean and that made it a little easier, so to avoid the visual noise that causes the clothes when they are not where they should be is always exaggerated. Even when the clothes are clean and even folded if they are in sight is a problem.
So I put my hands to work and started to order, I saw a video recently in which I folded the clothes in a certain way so that it does not unfold easily and I put it into practice last night while tidy. The closet space is limited, so I use 4 drawers which also has the closet, only that to fit things must be folded in a certain way. The way I used to fold things before, every time we took out a shirt or whatever, all the other clothes were unfolded and everything got messy super fast.
So depending on your folding technique you can avoid that kind of mess and also the frustration of having folded a bunch of clothes only to have them unfold a few days later. This time I put the shirts in a different position, facing forward and not stacked one on top of the other, I did the test and this way they also come out more easily and without causing messes, and this is what I really always look for.
Although easily I would only have to close the closet and put the drawers, the truth is that every time I do it with messy clothes it makes me uncomfortable a lot and the idea of order is to feel peace and turn off the noise it causes while it makes your life much more practical, plus I can open these doors even if there are people present and it will look tidy. Each closet drawer has a different type of clothing, depending on whether you are looking for underwear, or outerwear.
The clothes that I wear, I usually choose to leave them on hooks so that they are not so difficult to iron and also the dresses because they take up too much space when folded. When I finish I just close the drawers and closet doors and nothing inside is visible, yet I know that it is tidy inside and that gives me a certain kind of peace that not everyone may understand.
Finally even though it was a pile of clothes, having them clean and tidy in their place is quite an accomplishment and even though we still don't have water like we should, I'm going to try as much as possible to avoid another mountain of clothes accumulating that I want to make me lose myself in. Because I think that of the things that cause the most clutter, clothes are one of them if they are not where they should be or how they should be.
