With the fast pace of living today, it's nothing new when you hear people talking about what supplements to use to keep up with the rat race. Use this for more energy, use that against stress and/or anxiety... Sometimes, supplements aren't even enough anymore and many people have to go onto prescribed medication to cope with the day-to-day challenges.
This is why I was quite pleased when I saw the theme for this week's #POBPhotoContest!
The theme for this week is: NATURE.
Yes, I am also using supplements to get more energy and maintain general health. But what I find, is that nothing beats a peaceful hour or two out in nature when the fast pace of life and the stresses from daily living start catching up with you. Obviously, a day or two is always better, but hey, we don't always have the luxury of so much time...lol.
So, today's photos come from a recent walk in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, west of Durban in South Africa.
My first photo will be my entry for the #POBPhotoContest for this week. I loved this tree, growing on a rocky area right on the edge of a gorge.

As you can see, it was in the early morning of a cloudy day.
Walking up a little further, I found this spot where you could also walk freely, right up to the edge from where you could have a beautiful view of the valley below.

For the last photo in today's post, I kept walking further until I found a spot from where I had an open view over the valley.

And that's all for today, folks!
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
