The reason why I am showcasing this isn't because the base jumping was stupid or anything, people do stuff like this all over the world and when I was in Krabi once, a guy base jumped from the top of a limestone cliff. He didn't have permission to do this and I don't think he ever even sought it out, just like the people that base-jumped from the Emsphere shopping mall in Bangkok.

I can't believe it's been this many years that I have lived in Thailand. It was supposed to just be a year or two but this country has made me fall in love with it and now I hope that I never have to leave. We'll see. I have lectured many people about wasting their 20's and 30's by hanging around too long and I don't want to be one of those people.

I've been getting increasingly frustrated with Windows over the past few years. When Win10 came out for free and we no longer had to pirate it, at first I was excited but then I remembered that there is no such thing as free, especially when it comes to a company that has a strangle-hold on the world of operating systems like Windows does.

It wasn't that long ago that if you wanted a new simcard for you phone you simply walked into any tens of thousands of different stores and just did so. Malls in bigger cities would have long lists of available numbers that they had in stock for people that were seeking to obtain particular numbers. If you wanted to have a dozen sim cards for any reason, you could go ahead and do so.

I can't understand the mindset of a person that comes to Thailand's red-light areas, which are well-known all around the world, and somehow believes that some woman or girl that they meet there actually likes them and wants to be with them. This isn't to say that ALL of those girls are scammers but there are a ton of stories out there about the people in this line of work that work over men from all over the world for tons of money and all the while they are only pretending to be at all interested in them.

I think it is only a matter of time before the various people that desperately want cannibus to be illegal take a jab at pointing the finger at this sort of pitfall that comes with the legalization of recreational marijuana use in Thailand.
