The first thing i do when wanna go travel to Bangkok is find out what food is trending or popular. I go to Bangkok almost every year and each time the trends are always different. Why?
That's what makes Bangkok such a cherish city, the variety of food, and the ability to constantly innovate to be the best. Bangkok street food is always something i miss the most.
Take this crab omelette. Although it seems very late, find out about it was completely beyond my expectations. Why? Because I thought it was just egg mixed with a generous amount of crab filling. But i am very wrong.

If I get the chance to go to Bangkok again at the end of 2025, I try a crab omelette even if it's not at a restaurant that gone viral for its crab omelet. I'll even find a random restaurant in Chinatown. But sure... I say you guys should try this. It's a good experience, considering that crab omelets are part of Thailand itself.
I only knew that crab omelets originated in this country. We know Kai Jeow Poo, a typical Thai omelette served with warm rice and eaten immediately after serving. So, a crab omelet is similar. However, this crab omelet is more packed with protein.
The soft tender flavor, authentic crab and a little oily it's a real comfort food for me. This dish is especially very delicious with a little Thai chili sauce on top.
I'm curious a random crab omelet I found could be this delicious, especially if it's from a restaurant that specifically features crab omelets?

But, for now i am not only order the crab omelette but a plate of nasi goreng aka is fried rice with crab on top. You can see the leeks really tempting, right?
