### **Walking through the Universidad Central de Venezuela**

The University City of Caracas is a space that is characterized by the incredible conjunction between architecture, art and academia, which was an idea perfectly embodied in reality by the architect Carlos Raul Villanueva and which at the beginning of the century would earn the title of World Heritage of Humanity, therefore walking through its spaces means going into perfection, where every corner has its own value and where it shows us that modern architecture is capable of transmitting a sublime beauty that comes loaded with what great energy.

>La ciudad Universitaria de Caracas es un espacio que se caracteriza por la increíble conjunción entre la arquitectura, el arte y la academia, la cual fue una idea perfectamente plasmada en la realidad por el arquitecto Carlos Raúl Villanueva y la cual a principios  de siglo se ganaría el título de Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad, por lo tanto recorrer sus espacios significa adentrarse en la perfección, en donde cada rincón tiene un valor propio y en donde se nos demuestra que la arquitectura moderna es capaz de transmitirnos una sublime belleza que viene cargada qué gran energía.

When we see photos of the University City of Caracas is very common to see in the foreground the central dependencies, where the facade of the big red building of the library is the central axis, we also usually find images that show us the sports area, being in this opportunity the soccer and baseball stadiums that steal the attention, sometimes the closest faculties, such as humanities, law or social sciences usually steal the eyes of many, but in general rules rarely we can see images of places as far away as science, medicine with the institutes that are there. It is for this reason that in this opportunity allows me to walk through those places where normally people do not usually pass, with the company of two friends and with my camera in hand I shot several captures to those infrastructures that I find super interesting and at the same time little documented in social networks, this is how the University Clinical Hospital, the Faculty of Sciences and the Institute of Geology are the ones that in this opportunity I come to present.

>Cuando vemos fotos de la Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas es muy común apreciar en primer plano a las dependencias centrales, en donde la fachada del gran edificio rojo de la biblioteca es el eje central, también solemos encontrarnos con imágenes que nos muestran al área deportiva, siendo en esta oportunidad los estadios de fútbol y béisbol los que se roban la atención, a veces las facultades más cercanas, como la de humanidades, derecho o ciencias sociales suelen robarse la mirada de muchos, pero en reglas generales pocas veces podremos ver imágenes de lugares tan lejanos como ciencias, medicina con los institutos que por allí se encuentran. Es por esta razón que en esta oportunidad me permite caminar por aquellos sitios en donde normalmente la gente no suele pasar, con la compañía de dos amigas y con mi cámara en la mano disparé varias capturas hacia aquellas infraestructuras que me parecen súper interesantes y al mismo tiempo poco documentadas en redes sociales, es así como el Hospital Clínico Universitario, la Facultad de Ciencias y el Instituto de Geología son los que en esta oportunidad les vengo a presentar.

Despite being places little traveled by the common people these places of the campus usually have a life of their own, but to tell the truth is a much quieter pace, because I believe that goes according to the needs of the people who work and study here, are very quiet environments, full of peace, surrounded by nature and with a unique architectural style, where the large and impressive murals never cease to amaze us, where the strange monuments and artistic works go hand in hand with the specialty that is hidden in each faculty building, thus generating a hallmark that makes each space a unique place.

>A pesar de ser sitios poco transitados por el común de las personas estos lugares del campus suelen tener una vida propia, pero decir verdad es un ritmo mucho más tranquilo, pues Considero que va acorde con las necesidades propias de las personas que aquí laboran y estudien, son ambientes muy silenciosos, llenos de paz, rodeados por la naturaleza y con un estilo arquitectónico único, en donde los grandes e impresionantes murales no paran de sorprendernos, en donde los extraños monumentos y obras artísticas van de la mano con la especialidad que se esconde en  cada edificio facultad, generando de esta forma un sello distintivo que hace de cada espacio un lugar único.

The architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva in his perfect design of this entire campus generated a series of paths, corridors and corridors that allow us to link in a harmonious and magical way to all the elements that are in the University City, allowing us to travel long distances without feeling tired, No matter how many times we pass through the same place, we will always have the opportunity to notice some detail that makes a difference, for this reason walking through these facilities is really rewarding, is to live a very welcoming experience and is to navigate through a sea of knowledge.

>El arquitecto Carlos Raúl Villanueva en su perfecto diseño de todo este campus generó una serie de caminos, corredores y pasillos que permiten enlazar de forma armoniosa y mágica a todos los elementos que se encuentran en la Ciudad Universitaria, permitiéndonos recorrer grandes distancias sin sentirnos cansados, sin aburrirnos visualmente y manteniéndonos siempre a la expectativa de descubrir algo nuevo, no importa cuántas veces pasemos por un mismo lugar, siempre tendremos la oportunidad de fijarnos en algún detalle que marque la diferencia, por esta razón pasear por estas instalaciones es realmente gratificante, es vivir una experiencia muy acogedora y es navegar por un mar de conocimientos.

To finish this publication I want to return to one of the most interesting places of the university, it is the rector's square in whose corner stands an analog clock with a black background and yellow hands, which may seem a little simple, but for those of us who had the opportunity to be deformed in this house of studies, this is one of the greatest symbols of our university, because it will always mark our time and its bells will remind us that we have a very important goal to accomplish in our lives.

>Para finalizar esta publicación quiero volver a uno de los sitios más interesantes de la universidad, se trata de la plaza del rectorado en cuya esquina se alza un reloj analógico de fondo negro y agujas amarillas, el cual tal vez les pueda parecer un poco simple, pero para los que tuvimos la oportunidad deformarnos en esta casa de estudios, este es uno de los mayores símbolos de nuestra universidad, pues él siempre marcará nuestro tiempo y serán sus campanas las que al retumbar nos recordarán que tenemos una meta muy importante por cumplir en nuestra vida.
