This is part 2 of 3 from my recent trip to Atlanta, Georgia last week. We stayed in Flowery Branch, which is a nice upscale place where most of the expensive properties back right up to Lake Lanier with private docks in their backyard.
Driving the boat for no more than 45 seconds satisfied her ask to drive the boat, and then she was bored. Some people were just meant to be passengers and look good I suppose.
She wanted to wear a 2 piece bathing suit but I stopped her because my sons are teenage boys and I just didn't want them to have to deal with seeing that for 5+ hours. In hindsight, maybe that was a bad idea. Thoughts welcomed.
They got their turns too.
He wasn't interested for very long.
Then he needed a nap....
The clouds and water view that we see all too often but doesn't really ever get old if you take the time to soak it in.
Another one.
Beautiful greenery and water.
Time to head back in.
We were out for 5+ hours. We had time to anchor and swim in the ~80 degree water and see quite a few natural sites. We also saw our fair share of beautiful lake homes and boats too. We all had a great time. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reply.
My other post about this trip that I would say is part #1 is: https://steemit.com/travel/@inspire1/d6pyid6g if you'd like to check that out. It has some good cruising video and some other images taken from the water as well that are different from this posting. It also contains a loose connection to Led Zeppelin and the Marvel movie, Thor: Ragnarok. No filters were applied to these photos and they were simply taken with a Samsung S7 camera phone.
