Hello Amazing drinks friends...
Today I made squeezed orange ice mixed with chia seeds. In my opinion, these two ingredients are the right combination, squeezed oranges contain vitamin C which is very good for health while chia seeds are very good for digestion, besides this drink is also suitable for friends who are on a diet but want a refreshing drink.
Did you know that in Indonesia, squeezed orange ice is widely sold on the roadside with a price per cup of Rp. 5,000, - or if converted 0.30 $. Very cheap maybe for some people but if we make it ourselves at home it can be much cheaper because I bought 4 squeezed oranges for the same price as 1 cup from 4 pieces can be 3-4 glasses which of course can be enjoyed with family.
For the squeezed oranges that I used, I chose the slightly sour one because I wanted this drink to have a sweet and sour taste. If you want to make something sweet, you can choose sweet squeezed oranges.
The ingredients and how to make it are very easy to find. As additional sugar, I use granulated sugar which I dissolve in hot water. Let's make a refreshing drink.
Ingredients:
2 squeezed oranges
± 3 tbsp liquid sugar
1 tsp chia seed
Sufficient ice cubes
How to Make:
• Prepare the ingredients to be used to make squeezed orange juice
• cut the squeezed orange into 2 parts
• squeeze the orange. I used my mom's orange juicer. It's more than 20 years old. It's still very good and works well, only the top cover is missing. You can use the orange juicer you have or you can use it manually by hand.
• after the orange has been squeezed, it's time to pour it into a glass.
• Add orange juice, add liquid sugar, add chia seeds.
• Finally, add ice cubes.
• chia seed squeezed orange juice is ready to be enjoyed.
