Hello everyone, it's Ign1te. In this blog post, I'll be sharing with you my Splinterlands battle with the rule of EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY!
These past weeks I wasn't been able to play more games due to the fact that XBOT users are dominating the leaderboard🤖, it was really frustrating and I was very disappointed in what I ended up on the leaderboard last season, the thing that I really hate to match against them because they can always counter your team, so I stopped for a moment because I lost my motivation🙁
This is my rating for last season, really disappointed!
But still, I won't give up to do my best to get back on the silver leaderboard again, I played a lot of games yesterday practicing and learning how do I conquer the BOTS. You might think it's really hard for a manual player like me to beat those bots, but I know a lot of players can destroy XBOTS, like Ueyuey!
So let's move on to what I'm going to share with you!
What is EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY?
- Explosive weaponry is a ruleset in Splinterlands where all Monsters gain a blast ability
- Blast can add damage to Monster adjacent to the target Monsters
How to take advantage of this ruleset?
- First, you must always prioritize high speed (except on the reverse ruleset)
- The second is to choose a high-damage dealer
- If you have a higher speed and damage a higher chance you can win
Higher Speed and damage: Blue Team (My lineup)
BEST PICKS
- The Ruler of the Seas - add +1 Speed and high damage
- Axe Master - +3 Range Double Strike total of 6 Damage
- Balkjira - Great Tank with a Slow debuff and add extra health (Strengthen)
ROUND 1
- First round of the battle was not been so hard for me, and my opponent's Forgotten One almost die with the remaining 1 Health
ROUND 2
This round became so crucial for my opponent as it lost 2 of its front line, it's tough that it has 4 Rangers at the back and lost 2 Tanks. While my team still has Kraken and Balkjira but in a low-health situation.
ROUND 3
In this round, I've lost 2 front Monsters, which is still a safe play for me as my opponent has only 3 Monsters remaining on his side.
At the end of this round, only Thinderlock is left on my opponent's side
ROUND 4
The battle only lasted for 4 rounds, Thinderlock is left to make win but it was impossible as I have 4 left Monsters that can throw much larger damage
I've won the battle that left me a 0.714 SPS reward and a +5 Rating!
