Splinterlands Card Pack Reveal!

Opening Day Excitement (a few days late): Splinterlands Card Pack Reveal!
Welcome back, everybody! I’m dropping a quick post to share the video of my latest pack opening over at Splinterlands.
We’ve all been having an absolute blast ripping into these packs, hunting for new meta cards, and figuring out how these fresh abilities fit into our current rosters. The energy in the community right now is electric! Honestly, the card art is spectacular, the stats feel relatively balanced, and these units look like they’re going to be staples for a long time.
I only had 36 packs to open this round, but the RNG gods were smiling! I pulled a handful of gold foils, a few legendaries, and even a Rare Gold Foil Arcane. You’ll see my genuine reaction in the video—wait, did I just spoil the big pull? Man, maybe I should edit that out. Oh well, too late now. Just keep going, Joe! 😂
Before you jump into the video, I wanted to share a few quick thoughts on the new set.

The "Pronunciation" Struggle
First off, the art is 10/10. My only gripe? I can’t pronounce half of these names! They are super difficult. Can we get a "Bob," a "Rob," or maybe a "Stan" in the next set? It’s hilarious trying to shoutcast a match when the monster's name has 14 different letters in it.
Top 3: Aesthetic Favorites
In terms of pure visual cool-factor, these three are killing it:

1. Empusan Dark Guard: Just looks incredibly sleek and intimidating.

2. Azr the Relentless: A total "beast" from the Earth team. Love the vibe.

3. The Balloon Guy: (I always forget his name, but you know the one!) His design is just so unique and fun.

Top 3: Competitive Picks
These are the cards I’m most excited to actually field on the battlefield:
• Arcane Kobalt of Burden (Gold Foil Arcane): This is a Weapons Training card that offers four unique abilities. It is going to be a chess match trying to slot him into the perfect mix.

• Skritka: This legendary unit is all about the Kindred ability, passing boosts to adjacent cards. Mine hits for 2 Ranged and 3 Melee—the combo potential here is massive.

• Esper Shadowbeak: A Fire team powerhouse. This legendary deals 2 Magic and 2 Melee damage with a solid 4 Speed and 7 Health. He’s going to be a great anchor for my lineups.

Check out the full video below to see the rest of the haul and my co-host Xavier bringing that green-shirt luck!
Watching the streamers open 10,000 packs has been wild—shoutout to Jeff Opens Cards for really living up to the name! That gentleman truly opened some serious weight.
I’ll see you all on the battlefield. Thank you for the time and attention, and have a great day!
