It's that time of the week to enjoy another night of escape 😆 I do wish I have a longer day off. I'm excited for my day off, but I'm honestly feeling a little low tonight so I will keep my kitty feature brief. I know that Grumpy deserves more, but I'm feeling a little sad when I looked at the kitty photos tonight. I guess I can feature her story in parts. After all, we had her for five years before she went missing over a year ago. 😔

Tonight, I'm glad for the cooling system as I can enjoy a warm mug of tea after dinner. It's a good way to relax indeed as I turn on the weekend mode. One more work day... I'm thankful for another regular day. In the morning, I got a bit worried as the three kittens outside were not in their box. Later on in the morning, they were found in one of the boxes at the online selling neighbor's. Apparently, BLucky moved her kittens to hide them. They're walking outside their box already so she must have been concerned. I replaced their box with one of my DIY two-level boxes and added a bit of roofing to keep them hidden a bit. I hope they will stay hidden in the new DIY box. Meanwhile, inside the flat, Mini continues to take care of her kitten Solo. She's teaching him to come out of the room and go walking about the main living area. I mostly leave the cat mommas alone as I do believe they are the best moms for their babies. I'm keeping the kittens to myself for now so I'm not sharing any photos for the moment. 😁

Happy midweek 🎉 It's now a week since our local weather bureau announced the start of the hot season. Seems every day we get announcements on heat indices and reminders to keep cool and stay hydrated. If the weather does not get any hotter, then we're good. 🙏❤️💡

Hello April 🌻 Yes, it's now a new month. Finally the first quarter of the year is gone. Three more to go. At this stage, I don't know where to go from here. 😒 Sure I have plans and so far, they are moving forward a bit. I have successfully added two new electric fans -- one in the bedroom (last month) and one in the main living area (new). However, the bedroom is still hot, hot, hot. My theory is to add ventilation in the form of an exhaust fan in between the bedroom and main living area (where the cooling system is located). Perhaps that will cool the bedroom faster too. 😒 My challenge is who will install it? I guess I could try DIY as I did the existing exhaust fan in the main living area to the hallway window. Well, it was my late dad who did the original and I just replaced it when the old unit got busted. 🤔 I'll let this idea sit in my head for a few more hours. Then decide what to do. 😆

Saying good-bye to a month that brought me heartaches and pain. Well, first quarter of the year is over. Are you ready for a new month? 🤔 I'm reviewing plans I have previously set, but from here on, I will be playing it by ear for the meantime. I honestly just want to survive the year. 😒
