Cuando vi en el noticiero el trabajo que estaba realizando el talentoso artista Maximiliano Bagnasco no pude menos que emocionarme. He visto algunos de sus murales y me han resultado impactantes por el realismo que les incorpora, recuerdo ahora uno de un tamaño descomunal que veo casi todos los fines de semana, cuando voy a visitar a mi madre, se encuentra en un edificio que da a una pequeña plaza sobre la avenida San Juan. Maximiliano es un artista que ha realizado innumerables murales de Maradona, su mayor ídolo y de quien lleva un recuerdo imborrable que curiosamente no es la obtención del título en México 1986 ya que era muy pequeño para recordarlo, pero si de Italia 1990 donde la Argentina, de la mano de un Maradona golpeado y lesionado luchó hasta el último minuto para quedarse a las puertas de una nueva consagración mundialista. La pasión y la entrega de Diego lo conmovieron y ahora le retribuye con su talento pintándolo en cada pared que puede. La idea partió de un padre que le prometió a su hija conseguir al artista para inmortalizar a ambos ídolos futbolísticos si la Argentina ganaba el mundial, no dudó un instante cuando el objetivo fue alcanzado y llamó inmediatamente a Maximiliano a quien le gustó tanto la idea que comenzó inmediatamente a buscar el lugar para hacerlo. Fiel a su estilo debía ser un retrato realista de ambos futbolistas, no le convencen las caricaturas, las considera un trabajo imaginativo, no es sencillo exagerar y distorsionar el aspecto de las personas, pero no lo satisfacen como si lo hace su arte realista. Pese a la explosión de júbilo y las repercusiones que aún no se acallan por la extraordinaria epopeya de Qatar, no es este el primer mural dedicado a ambos astros, existe uno que sorprende por su ubicación: se encuentra emplazado en plena ciudad de Nueva York, en los Estados Unidos de América. El grupo Khan NYC pintó un mural estilo caricaturesco en una esquina de Queens con motivo de la disputa del mundial de 2018. En estos últimos tiempos se ha puesto de moda la idea de renombrar calles que converjan con el nombre de los dos ídolos máximos del fútbol local y el primer lugar que oficialmente y por una ordenanza municipal tiene esa esquina, está ubicada en el pueblo de Uriburu, en la provincia de La Pampa. Hay otros proyectos por supuesto. Sería muy lindo tener un mural que incluya también al Rey Pelé, desde mi punto de vista los tres mejores jugadores de todos los tiempos, seguramente alguien lo está pensando y no pasará mucho tiempo para que pueda escribir y mostrar ese trabajo aquí en #hive y especialmente en la comunidad de #fulldeportes. Maximiliano es muy requerido y tiene pedidos con hasta 6 meses de espera para realizar algunos de sus ya famosos murales.
