Hi All,I continue to watch the stock markets closely and so far this year has been a roller coaster - although a good one for me so far. In short, I sold at the end of Jan when tariffs were being threatened, and bought back in in early April when things were close to the bottom. I normally invest in ETFs (eg, Nasdaq, FTSE100, Euro markets, S&P500 and Nikkei trackers).

Its been a while since I posted about the stock markets, but I've been watching them with intent for a number of months. At the end of Jan, I sold most of my holdings, as soon as discussions about tariffs being put on Canada and Mexico became a reality. I thought the market was rather high and that point (too high in fact), and with the threat of a global trade war looming, I assumed it would start to fall. I then sweated it out over Feb when there wasnt too much movement !

The last post I made for the saturday savers club was back on the 1st of Sept 2024. So its been six and a half months, noting that I've been pretty much inactive in that time. I thought it would be interesting to see how things have changed over that period of inactivity !

Hi All, I found enough enthusiasm to create a post today - the first in 5 months. I needed a break from HIVE, and all things crypto actually. I found I was doing too much, and it had started to dictate my daily life, so needed a break. But the main thing is life is good.

Well we had a spectacular treat here in Edinburgh last night - the Aurora Borealis was shining like a good-un !We call them the Northern Lights here in the UK. Although I've seen them quite a bit before, I think this may be the furthest south I've seen them.
