@leslyfay and i made this cake for her niece birthday. I will only share with you the ingredients because i forgot to take pictures in doing it step by step. Anyway, making this is just like making a regular sponge cake. You're just adding ube flavor.
Here's the ingredients :
2 1/2 cups cke flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ube flavorings
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup milk
8 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
5-7 drops of purple food coloring(optional)
1/2 cup ube yam or jam (if you use jam decrease the sugar a bit)
8 egg whites
3/4 cup of sugar
1 tsp cream of tartar
