CELEBRATING BIRTHDAY 🎉🎂

Question:- Why is “celebrating birthday” not justified?

Celebrating birthday is not proven as Sunnah.

Neither did the Prophet ﷺ celebrate his birthday, nor did his companions ever do so (it is not proved anywhere from the Salaf-e-Saaleheen to do so).

When no harm has been done then why are we doing it? Do we know or understand Deen better than those people? (Not at all)

The work which the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not do, the companions (ra) did not do, then why should we do it, we have to follow the dates given by them, only then success will be possible.

Because Deen means way, it means that our way should be that of our Prophet (peace be upon him) or the Sahaba (Raz) and not that of other people.

A single Hadith of Rasool Allah (peace be upon him) is enough to prove that it is not permissible to practice things that are the inventions (cultural inventions) of "non-communities", so there is no need to tell about things like birthdays separately because these are also of non-communities. There is a way.

The Prophet ﷺ said:-

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said

The one who did good to any other community is from me.

(Meaning he is like us, not one of the Muslims)

Question:- What is the problem in wishing?

Just think, do you congratulate for any illegal work (absolutely not)

Like: - If someone comes drunk, do you congratulate him and say, "Wow, what a job you have done"? Don't congratulate him because he reduced Haram, then why congratulate him for buying something that is illegal for non-communities?
