I recently began working on a new variation of my Pietà series (based on Michelangelo's Pietà). The painting measures 50x40 cm. Given its complexity, it will take some time to complete. What you see here is the underpainting; the colors and overall lighting will evolve as the work progresses.

I decided to upgrade the antennas on both my DJI Goggles 2 and the O3 air unit on my GEPRC Moz7. On the drone, I installed the longer Albatross V2 5.8GHz 150mm antennas, and on the goggles, I used the ORT Helical 3-Turn 5.8GHz antennas. I tested the setup along my "signal benchmark lines" in the forest. It's definitely an improvement!

Today, I scanned my photo archive for macro photography of flowers. Looking closer into them reveals most intricate forms and textures, bathed in vibrant colors. The details captured by a macro lens are nothing short of breathtaking, each flower under a macro lens looks like an alien landscape, with bizarre and beautiful formations.

Today I scanned my photo archive for marcro shots of insects. I'm not really an expert in macro photography, nevertheless I took hundreds of photos of bugs over the years. Here is a just small selection of what I found.

My last two posts have been all about the world of trees and woods, but today I've shifted my focus to the rugged beauty of rocks and stones. As seen in many of my paintings my obsession with rocks is evident. How could I resist when nature itself is the ultimate artist, sculpting such breathtaking masterpieces?

Diving into Excire Photo has been like unearthing a treasure trove from my 115k photo archive, revealing gems I'd long forgotten. As I mentioned before, I'm on the hunt for some interesting tree shots to inspire my next painting. I've once again found some spectacular shots from all corners of the world. Converting them to black and white has only made them more captivating.
