Masfout Museum settled in the rugged landscape of Ajman, stands as a gateway to the past. The museum is small but well-curated, offering insightful exhibits, including its traditional architecture, local crafts and historical significance. The museum silently safeguards the different story of an ancient civilization that once flourished in the region.
A traditional setting is likely to reflect local heritage. A carpet with a medieval design with cushions adds a historical touch. The combination would express a sense of elegance and heritage.
This area explains about Masfut. It's an agricultural land and high-quality marble. Masfut is surrounded by high mountains and is cooler due to the high ground.
The Falaj system is an ancient irrigation. It consists of a network of underground and above-ground channels that transport water from natural sources such as springs or wells to farms and villages.
Bin Sultan Mosque serves as a place of worship and a symbol of the architectural beauty of the city.
This place tells how Ibn Sultan Mosque in Masfut was built and is today considered one of the oldest mosques in the region and the building of a fort at Wadi Hatta.
The Bronze Age history is reflected in the Mowaihat archaeological site, where early settlers showcased ancient burial practices and crafted pottery and tools that hint at a thriving civilization.
The powder flasks are intricately designed and often made from brass or leather and pour gunpowder ensuring their firearms were ready to use.

Inside this glass displayed was a slingshot they used this to throw a stone to scare birds away from the date. "Habot" a rope made of palm fiber used to make climbing easy and safe. Pottery jug used for water or milk.
These are traditional crafts. The raw iron will be heated in a fire to make it pressed enough to shape. The hot coal will be placed inside the clothes iron to heat it for use. The pottery is used for food storage. The holder is used for children learning and memorizing the Quran to hold and support the holy book.

This section displays the different rocks and the Hajar mountains in general. you can see many different types of rocks and some interesting formations.
This section exhibits the first clinic in Masfut. The traditional healers relied on whatever they could source in the local environment to cure many ailments. The old school in Masfut was founded in 1944. The strict teacher Ali Bin Hammad bin Ghanem Al Shamsi, had a reputation as a very strict but dedicated teacher. The traditional education of Masfut was heavily based on religious teachings, reading and memorizing the Quran.

The cannons displayed at the Masfout Museum serve the region's strategic military history. The cannon is placed on either side of the gates as a symbol of strength.
Behind the artifacts, the Masfout Museum serves as a living testament to the spirit of the people. It stands as a timeless guardian of the past and ensures the voice of the ancient civilization.
We truly enjoyed our visit to this Masfout Museum, we deeply appreciated the craftsmanship and historical significance. The place was so serene and the scenic view added inspiration to enrich the history of the region.
