My Muse

My little muse
(Object to use)
I know you are young
And the future's confused
So you, I could guide
So cut off, with knife
She who gave you life
Cuz' she wants you no mind
But you, I sought
Always with good thought
So leave yourself tame
And with me, laugh along
(I smile, just in think)
'till blood, we drink
Lost in the winds
Lost track of time
But hush, now stay quiet
And scream tongue tied
Cuz' they're listening
And I've been working
To give us hide
But now you're asking
What else do I hide
I'll promise, lover
That all my others
In the river, didn't fall
But you couldn't move on
Your voice in throat locked
What did you say you see
That my old muselings
You saw them on the streets
And told you ugly things
I swear, they're lying
But you don't believe
My truth said
In your ear deaf
That I have an ill will
And your faith, I've theft
Your eyes wide grow
Your heartbeat slows
You've thoughts of smoke
But I beg you, muse
Please curb your shouts
Leave yourself to me
Show me your sweet
If you my path go down
Please, come, follow
But you scream no
And you've marked me

Another older poem I was tweaking recently. This one's about the bad kind of love. The kind that ain't really love. The kind where you're not sure if they even want you to have them, it seems like they just want to have you. Just something to think about.
