Greetings, my Wednesday walking friends. I hope you enjoyed these days off for Carnival.

Today I'm sharing some photos of my return home after a traditional day of work in my city, Cabudare.

I will begin by saying and reiterating, as on previous occasions, that this community has helped me appreciate the small details of everyday life that normally go unnoticed due to the rush in which we live. We get up, have breakfast, go to work, and then in the afternoon we return home after completing our workday. This is a daily routine, but if we let ourselves be enveloped by it, life becomes monotonous and boring.

An excellent way to break that routine is to use our senses to observe the world around us in detail. That's why now, when I move from one place to another, I start scanning the details of the buildings, their shapes and colors, the foliage of the trees, the flowers, the shape and color of the clouds, and even the birds flying by.

On this occasion, I am showing you one of my daily routes from work to home. The streets, the buildings, the traffic. Every detail tells a different story that, when discovered, makes our lives more enjoyable.

On my way back, I passed through several wide streets lined with large trees, climbed the overpass near my house, and when I came down, I stopped to contemplate the beauty of the sky. There were large white and gray clouds blocking the sun's rays, but they acted as a filter because you could see the sun's glints as the afternoon was dying down, and further ahead, where the avenue signs are, you could see the clouds changing color from gray to orange. It was a colorful picture that nature gave us.

That concludes this brief tour of the streets of my city. I will be back with you soon.

Retornando a casa después de un largo dia

Saludos mis amigos de las caminatas de miercoles, espero que hayan disfrutado estos días de asueta de carnaval.

Hoy les comparto algunas fotografías de lo que fue mi regreso a casa luego de un tradicional día de trabajo en mi ciudad Cabudare

Comenzaré diciendo y reiterando como en anteriores oportunidades, que esta comunidad me ha ayudado a apreciar los pequeños detalles de la vida cotidiana y que normalmente pasamos desapercibidos por la premura en que vivimos. Nos levantamos, desayunamos, salimos al trabajo y luego en la tarde viene el regreso al hogar luego de cumplir la jornada laboral. Esto es una rutina diaria, pero si nos dejamos arropar por ella, la vida se hace monótona y aburrida.

Una excelente forma de romper esa rutina es la de utilizar nuestros sentidos para observar con detalle el mundo que nos rodea. Por esa razón ahora cuando me traslado de un sitio a otro comienzo a escanear los detalles de las construcciones, sus formas y colores, el follaje de los árboles, las flores, la forma y color de las nubes y hasta las aves que pasan a mi lado.

En esta oportunidad les muestro uno de mis recorridos rutinarios de cada día desde mi trabajo hasta mi hogar. Las calles , los edificios, el tránsito. Cada detalle cuenta una historia diferente que al descubrirla nos hace la vida mas placentera.

Cuando venía de regreso pasé por varias calles amplias con grandes árboles, subí el elevado que está cerca de mi casa y cuando bajé, me detuve a contemplar la belleza del cielo. Habían grandes nubes blancas y grises que bloqueaban los rayos del sol, pero actuaban como un filtro porque se veían los destellos del sol cuando la tarde va muriendo y mas adelante, donde están los avisos de la avenida, se notaba el cambio de colorido de las nubes de gris a naranja. Todo un cuadro colorido que nos regala la naturaleza.

Hasta aquí este pequeño recorrido por las calles de mi ciudad, próximamente estaré de nuevo con ustedes.
