On Saturday it was a cold rainy day and I spent the morning paying bills/doing budget and making grocery shopping lists. Around 11AM the very fine snow started and I tried to get photos of it, but alas…

I just kept the fires going and eventually went back to bed in the afternoon. Just worn out from the 2 days in the barn.

I’ve found a new to me YouTube channel, Country Life Vlog. It’s about a couple in Azerbaijan and what they do on their homestead. The first video was in December 2019 and I started watching them from the beginning. It’s mostly about cooking but there’s lots of flowers so far, as it’s only September 2020 as far as I got.

They post a new video about every 4 days. It’s fascinating seeing how they do homestead tasks. I’m also liking the progression of seasons and the slow improvements to the homestead.

So lately when I’ve said I’m watching videos, this is what they have been.

I had a previous favorite I adored, Liziqi, from China. But she stopped putting up videos over a year ago, I think. I still like to go back and watch some of them again, they are just so beautiful.

Sunday the rain is supposed to stop and it’s to warm up into the 50’s. My tenant and his fiancée and my brother and I are all going out to the barn to tackle some more of the mess. My brother and I will start in the workshop and the others will continue with the aisle and getting wood into the loft.
