Už je to rok a kousek, co jsme na našem oblíbeném blockchainu mohli s velkou slávou přivítat novou herní platformu Arcade Colony. Slibovala mimo jiné alespoň částečně přenositelná NFT ze hry do hry, což je samozřejmě obrovská výhoda. Pokud vás jedna hra přestanete bavit, seberete zkrátka svoje assety a přesunete se na jinou, zábavnější. Nemusíte řešit jejich prodej a nákup nových, takže ušetříte nervy i čas. A pokud máte jen trochu podnikavého ducha, určitě v tom cítíte velkou příležitost – první herní předměty budou mít jednou obrovskou cenu, asi jako alfa karty ve Splinterlands. Tedy… Pokud se samozřejmě platforma chytne.

It’s time to continue my Brazilian travel journal as other journeys await. This final post from the largest city in the southern hemisphere might be a tad touristy—even travelers occasionally do touristy stuff. With no further ado, let’s explore downtown Sampa with its omnipresent police, its share of burglars and homeless people, and even Christmas decorations as I visited it at the end of December, during the rainy season in this part of the world. We experienced a few showers, but the day was not as gloomy as the pictures suggest.

It's been just three weeks since I spent several days in Berlin, yet there's snow in my photos and spring outside. The temperature has jumped around 20 °C, which makes the trip feel like it took place months ago. Fortunately, I made my notes as usual regarding the brews and the trivia from the staff, so the post is still grounded. Any beer buff must find themselves in a haven in the German capital. On the other hand, Prague offers more craft microbreweries scattered throughout the city – we have at least 50 of them, while Berlin boasts just around 30 such venues, and it's worth noting that the city is three times larger. Brlo is one of the most reputable ones.

I have a soft spot for high mana cap games with ruleset modifications that don't kill the vibe – not those that create an environment too hostile for monsters to survive beyond a couple of rounds or those that are overly restrictive. As a huge fan of strategy games (with the possible exception of Kingdom Come Deliverance – the most realistic RPG ever; I can’t wait to play KCD2, which was released a month ago), I prefer to build my deck piece by piece, tailoring it to the ruleset. The combination of Fog of War and Born Again guaranteed fun, although Weak Magic complicated devising the proper strategy. Here is one of the entertaining battles, where I can only attribute my victory to one of the best healers in the game and the perfect synergy.

„Not your keys, not your coins“ se většinou vztahuje na různé burzy nebo peněženky, u kterých nemáte privátní klíč, a tam jim prostě musíte důvěřovat. O klíče i mince ovšem můžete relativně snadno přijít, a to se týká i těch místních. Kryptoměnové klíče jsou dlouhé řetězce náhodných znaků, u písmen pak záleží na velikosti, a tak si je zapamatuje leda tak dedikovaný autista. Což je celkem zásadní nevýhoda. Ne že by běžně používaná hesla, která se u spousty lidí opakují napříč různými weby a aplikacemi, byla nějak zásadně bezpečná, ale copy-pasting onoho dlouhého řetězce znaků taky není to pravé ořechové.
