Today, I will be sharing with us the process of how I made a two-piece outfit, in this case, a Basque asymmetric blouse and a palazzo trousers for my younger sister again, yea, she's lucky, I made her two outfits in a week, to celebrate the Easter, she asked me to make her these tie piece, she specifically chooses the style of her choice, and her wish is my command, what are big sisters forš, and after all I am the fashion designer.
Without further ado, let us get right into the making process.
Duration
This style can be worn by women of all age groups, both young and old, and it took me about four hours to finish making this dress from start to finish.
Materials / Tools needed
Ankara fabric
Zipper
Cotton lining
Matching thread
Scissors
Tape rule and my sewing machine
Process
1 I started by drafting the basic bodies pattern of the blouse, the front, and back patterns

front

back
2 I joined the patterns together and turned them with the cotton lining
3 I drafted the sleeves, one side as a normal basic sleeve, while the other as an off-shoulder puffy sleeve.
4 Here, I attached the one-side basic sleeve to the already-made bodice/blouse, next I attached the puffy off-shoulder sleeves to the asymmetric side of the blouse.
Making of the trousers
5 I drafted and cut out the trouser patterns for both the front and back
6 drafted and cut out the pockets for the trousers
7 Then, joined the front separately along the crotch, I also did same to the back pattern, adding the the pockets before finally joining them by the sides.
Finally, I added band to the waist of the trouser.
Tada! My 2 piece outfit is ready, beautiful, isn't it?
