DigiByte Troll

By @ghostycc6/14/2017dgb

Lately, Digibyte cryptocurrency have been around the top10 followed value in the blockchain universe.
It means that it has been the target of many trolls, victims, investors, curious and more.

Let's get back to some concrete troll-facts.

I'll start with this article : https://medium.com/@krakenXIV/the-dgb-shit-show-no-development-471a962f1a9a

"Coins come and go but when it comes to $DGB; It's a persistent fucker."

Yes, DigiByte is a persistent fucker. There is many reasons for it. Digibyte is not 1 month old, the very first block was at : Jan 10, 2014 11:27:56 PM. Jared Tate, the founder of DigiByte coin even sent a signature you can find here:c30fc6e6-6f2f-43d9-a53a-27e528c5852d.jpg

Since then, here are the major DigiByte updates I will just name here :

January 10th, 2014, 12 PM MST: DigiByte officially launches with much success and user participation from around the globe.

February 28th, 2014: DigiShield hardfork at block 67,200. DigiByte developers in response to multi-pool attacks test and develop an asymmetrical difficulty adjustment system named DigiShield. DigiShield is quickly adopted & implemented by many other digital currencies including Dogecoin. Many digital currencies still use & apply parts of DigiShield codebase.

April 8th, 2014: DigiByte attends, gives a professional presentation & has a booth at the first ever cryptocurrency convention in New York City. Watch Video Here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkWVD8MJlS0

September 1st, 2014: MultiAlgo hardfork at block 145,000. DigiByte plans & successfully deploys its second hardfork to allow miners to mine on five independent mining algorithms & is the first digital currency to make such a move.

November 29th, 2014: DigiByte officially announces a $250,000 private investment to build services around the DigiByte network as well as a strategic collaboration with Tofugear Ltd of Hong Kong and a new office presence in Hong Kong.

December 10th, 2014: MultiShield hardfork at block 400,000. DigiByte deploys & executes its third hard fork to improve network performance alongside a reward reduction to extend DigiByte production to 21 years.

January 16th, 2015: DigiByte releases DigiHash Easy Miner for beginners.

June 12th, 2015: DigiByte Gaming Wallet released for Android and Chrome extension! DigiByte Gaming Download the Digibyte gaming wallet

September 8th, 2015: DigiByteGaming.com released! Get paid DigiBytes by playing League of Legends! (At this moment the dev of this is in stasis, the DGB team is focusing on major targets)

December of 2015: DigiSpeed, this was a hard fork that focused on making the DigiByte coin transaction speeds faster. Block time was reduced by 50% to 15 seconds and new block propagation code was added with the help of Microsoft.

March, 29th and 30th New-York : Jared Tate present Digibyte to "FinDEVr 2016" event: Watch it here.

Apr 12th, 2016: Jared tate present DigiByte Blockchain to "Blockchain & Bitcoin Africa Conference 2016" event: Watch it here.

Apr 19th, 2016: LA Games Conference, here's the review from Jared there :"We wanted to give everyone a quick update on the LA Games conference. The conference went great for DigiByte and we were the only blockchain based organisation there. We made several good contacts for DigiByte and we are talking to many new people exploring new ways to collaborate. These things however take time to play out. As with some of our connections from the New York event. This week we are meeting with several interested parties in LA and San Francisco."

Apr 27th, 2016 : Collision Conference: Jared quote about it : "We have some exciting news on the horizon and we also will be attending a huge event next week in New Orleans called "Collision" check it out here: https://collisionconf.com"

June 22-24th Beijing,China 2016 Global Blockchain Summit:

Then we had DigiByte core wallet 6.14.2 able to sync in 4 hours.

And of course the Support for Segregated Witness in early 2017.

So yes, you can definitely say that DigiByte is a "persistent fucker".

I think this will also answer the attacker fact following : "SO THEN WHAT IS THE DEVELOPMENT (LOL) TEAM DOING?!?!"
If you don't understand, read the above lines again.

Now, further down in the attacker post:

"Let's assume that they are working on the User interface, doing promotion (with beautiful presentations :'D ) and forging partnerships right? Errrrr…..
Let us start off with with a couple;
Minecraft integration; Already fact checked to death.
Utter bullshit and highly milked for marketing purposes.
Microsoft partnership: Never happened (or did Jared mean Bizspark which is available to ANY startup…)
CitiBank presentation: It's pretty obvious that many DGB investors are not entrepreneurs or you would know that you can join hundreds of these events (becoming a finalist isn't hardly as difficult as you'd suspect)."

Fact 1:

Funny how your first fact is "Minecraft integration"

Minecraft integration, where did you get these words ? Integration would mean DigiByte would be added into Minecraft. In fact nobody NEVER SAID something even close to this.

The minecraft news was in fact related to this :

@Laurynas, a young and dedicated dev that linked minecraft private server to an etablished DigiByte reward system made by himself. You can find him on the telegram group : https://t.me/DigiByteCoin
Play Minecraft on his server, earn DigiByte.? How can this be "transformed" to Minecraft integration to you?

Fact 2

Microsoft Partnership... Wait What ? Where do you get this from please ?
Digibyte has made a request to Azure once upon a time, and tehy got it granted. It was something like 2 years of free server usage on Microsoft Azure to help develop the DigiByte disruption eco-system.

Fact 3

"CitiBank presentation: It's pretty obvious that many DGB investors are not entrepreneurs or you would know that you can join hundreds of these events (becoming a finalist isn't hardly as difficult as you'd suspect)."

I will just say that, becoming a finalist is in fact, very hard. Alot of skilled dev-team are fighting to the top : here's a list of the finalist for the citiBank contest.

http://www.techforintegritychallenge.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/02/Citi-Tech-For-Integrity-Challenge-Demo-Day-Finalists.pdf?x82031

So, let's get to the next attacking-troll-fact :

"How about that UI of the DGB wallet?"1-BdxhYPi5z7A6DDVtVtoSKw.gif

What exactly more is required in this wallet ?
You want it to sync fast, it is.
You want it to be safe, it is.
You want it to be hyped-beautiful, please feel free to tell the dev team what you'd like more in it.

The attacker conclusion:

"To finish up:
Much can be said about DGB but good things are rare. It looks more and more like Jared is one of the best con men in the short history of crypto."

Much can be said? But your "much" hold into 2 sentences.
Good things are rare? I count not less than 15 fact quoted above in around 3 years development. 16 with the "persistent fucker" one. Which is to me the best one. Yes DigiByte is persistent, Jared in the lead of it has stepped in some no man's land area. And so far he's doing an amazing job.

So to you, if DGB is a scam. Tell us what is it about.
If you think DGB is just about 1 month old like this guy :
https://youtu.be/TF1QAfGhxQI

Who is claiming that DGB drop of 60%. What the heck ? Seriously ?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digibyte/

This isn't a 60% drop, it's a good 13x increase in a few months (from 0.000260USD to 0.0035218USD at the time i write this post)
Marketcap went from 160K USD in 2014 to 304M USD today.

What kind of speculator see a 60% drop here ?
You've got to be very very badly informed about this, but feel free to drop on the telegram group to get fresh intel :

Official alerts : https://t.me/DGBalerts
Official discussion group : https://t.me/DigiByteCoin (it is at 4.9K members at this moment, don't speculate or troll there you'd be banned by the way :D )

Here's my last one for you : "An other one bite the dust. "

Kindly,
