Do you believe in the Easter Bunny?
Well, sorry to say it, but if you do you are about as intelligent as a rabbit. Now I know what you are thinking...it's just some good old fun. Sure it is. However, we can all be fairly certain this anthropomorphic creature doesn't exist. Sorry kids, Santa ain't real either, bah humbug to you too!

Pixabay, you gotta be smoking the good weed to thing this animal laid these eggs
Nowadays, people have fun deceiving their children and telling them that an Easter bunny comes around and lays eggs. First of all, bunnies are baby rabbits and not sexually mature. Second of all they are rodents and give birth to litters of 4 or so bunnies. No eggs. Also even if they do have eggs, they are small and on the inside. They don't come out unless the rabbit is being dissected or something. Further, they aren't painted and they haven't hidden around. Why did I even bother? No one above the age of kindergarten actually believes this thing exists.
Anyway, I appreciate the tradition and the day off, I like hunting for things and why not surprise or candied eggs, I just find the Easter Bunny a little creepy. Can we normalize it a little and just say it is an Easter Chicken? It would be more comfortable and we could celebrate with KFC or something more delicious than a rabbit.
It's always seemed odd to me that each holiday has to have some make-believe character. Easter is supposed to be about Jesus Christ. Now aways, instead of embracing the Christian God, people just stuff themselves with chocolates.
I'm not religious and I don't care that its blasphemy, I just wish people would change the day. Why not just have a silly egg-hunting holiday on the 2nd Monday of April or something? Make it 100% secular like Halloween or Family Day.
I do appreciate the fact that it is not a nationalistic holiday, those are the worst.
I saw some of my family members and had a BBQ party. We ate steaks.
Anyway Happy Easter!
