This information was officially announced yesterday by the Ukrainian management of the Biosphere Reserve 'Askania-Nova', whose authority has now been finally suspended. Сьогодні я засмучена і розлючена. Оскільки вчора офіційне керівництво найвідомішого й найстарішого природного заповідника України "Асканія-Нова" на своїй фб-сторінці повідомило вбивчу новину. Наша природна перлина відтепер стала офіційною власністю російської окупаційної влади, і зареєстрована під назвою «государственное автономное учреждение «Биосферный заповедник «Аскания-Нова» 7 березня 2023 року.

Тепер заповідником "Асканія-Нова", степи якого підлягають збереженню та вивченню за програмою ЮНЕСКО «Людина і біосфера», керуватимуть мерзотники, невігласи та бандити. Це пограбування заради пограбування. Нікому з представників російської окупаційної влади не буде діла ні до науки, ні до туризму, ні до природи. А що буде з тваринами заповідника, взагалі невідомо. Бо це не люди.
Я так шкодую, що ми з родиною так і не доїхали до заповідника "Асканія-Нова" влітку 2021 році. Хоча серйозно розглядали цю поїздку, аби на власні очі побачити неймовірну красу херсонських степів, життя тварин і птахів в умовах дикої природи. Проте я вірю, що ми неодмінно повернемо назад свої території. І наші заповідники знову опиняться у дбайливих руках людей, які все своє життя вивчають нашу флору і фауну, з великою любов'ю піклуються про природу.
Зрештою, унікальна природа, яка належить всьому світу, не може бути власністю Росії.
