Hello, friends. A few days ago, I shared with you a Geodude figurine made of plasticine, a pretty cool Pokémon. Well, today I would like to share with you another figurine from this Pokémon collection I am making.
It's one of the most famous Pokémon, whose evolution is one of the most beautiful, but before making that Pokémon, you first have to make its initial stage, which, as you saw in the title of the post and the cover image, is Vulpix. So, I invite you to join me in the creative process of this Pokémon.

Saludos amigos. Hace unos días compartí con ustedes una figurita de Geodude hecha de plastilina, un Pokémon bastante genial. Pues bien, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes otra figurita de esta colección de Pokémon que estoy haciendo.
Se trata de uno de los Pokémon más famosos, cuya evolución es una de las más bonitas, pero antes de hacer a ese pokémon, primero hay que hacer su etapa inicial que, como vieron en el título del post y la imagen de portada, se trata de Vulpix. Así pues, los invito a acompañarme en el proceso creativo de este Pokémon.
Step by step
The materials I used for this piece were as follows:
- Plasticine
- Glue
- Wire
The first thing I did was to shape Vulpix's body. I used brick-colored plasticine, a color I obtained by mixing a little orange with green, which is the opposite color to darken this color.
Then I added a much lighter orange spot on the abdomen, although it is more like a mustard color.

Los materiales que utilicé para esta pieza fueron los siguientes:
- Plastilina
- Pegamento
- Alambre
Lo primero que hice fue hacer la forma del cuerpo de Vulpix, usé esta plastilina color ladrillo, color que obtuve al mezclar un poco de naranja con color verde, el cual es el opuesto para oscurecer este color.
Posteriormente le coloqué una manchita en el abdomen de color naranja mucho más claro, aunque es más parecido a un color mostaza.

After making the little body, I used the same brick-colored modeling clay to make the character's four little legs. I used a burgundy color to make the tips of each leg and then attached them to the body using wire and glue.
Luego de hacer el cuerpecito, usé la misma plastilina color ladrillo para hacer las cuatro patitas del personaje. Con un color vinotinto hice las puntas de cada pata y luego las uní al cuerpo usando alambre y también pegamento.

For the tail, I used a fairly intense orange color, cutting 6 small pieces of plasticine into sections, which I molded into the shape you see in the image on the right. Then I glued them to the back of Vulpix's body.
Para la cola usé un color naranja bastante intenso, cortando en secciones 6 trocitos de plastilina, los cuales moldeé de la forma que ven en la imagen de la derecha. Luego los pegué en la parte trasera del cuerpo de Vulpix.

Once the body was done, I continued with the head, which I also made with the same old brick color I had used for the body.
The main shape for the head was that of a pear, but inverted. I placed the nose, which I made with dark brown, on the thinnest part. Then I continued with the eyes, placing each one on the upper part of the body, along with a couple of white dots.
Una vez hecho el cuerpo, continué con la cabeza, la cual también hice con el viejo color ladrillo que ya había hecho el cuerpo.
La forma principal para la cabeza fue la de una pera, pero invertida. En la parte más delgada coloqué la nariz, la cual hice con marrón oscuro. Luego seguí con los ojos, colocando cada uno en la parte superior del cuerpo, junto a un par de puntitos de color blanco.

Once I had created the basic shape, I added Vulpix's pointed ears and finally did its hair, which looks like a hairstyle straight out of an 80s hair salon.
Una vez hecha la forma base, le hice las orejas puntiagudas que tiene Vulpix, para finalmente hacerle el cabello, el cual parece un peinado al más puro estilo de peluquería de los 80.

The last step was to attach the head to the body, also using wire and glue to give the piece greater support.
El último paso fue pegar la propia cabeza en el cuerpo, usando también alambre y pegamento para dar mayor soporte a la pieza.
And so my Vulpix figurine was finished. Below you can see a series of photos of the final result:
