Well, to continue with my collection, this time I would like to show you this little Oddish figurine.
Pues bien, para continuar con mi colección, está vez me gustaría mostrarles está pequeña figurita de Oddish.
Step by step
I don't remember why, but Oddish was one of my favorite Pokémon when I was little. I remember I had a lot of cards of this little plant, that's why I'm very happy to make it.
To make it I started first with the base, that is, the feet.
It is a simple shaped Pokémon, so to make the feet we simply need a wire in the shape of an "L".
Paso a paso
No recuerdo por qué, Pero Oddish era uno de mis Pokémon favoritos cuando estaba pequeño. Recuerdo que tenía muchas cartas de esta plantita, por eso me alegra mucho hacerla.
Para su fabricación comencé primero con la base, es decir, los pies.
Es un Pokémon de forma sencilla, así que par hacer los pies simplemente necesitamos un alambre en forma de "L".
We will cover this wire support with blue plasticine.
This blue that Oddish is made of is not a king blue or dark blue, it is a very unique one. To make it mix king blue with green and a little yellow, mixing these other colors with the blue gradually until the desired shade is achieved.
As you can see in the image below you have to make the upper part thin and the part where the feet are a little thicker, as if they were clown shoes.
Este soporte de alambre lo cubriremos con plastilina azul.
Este azul del que está hecho Oddish no es un azúl rey o azúl oscuro, es uno muy único. Para hacerlo mezcle azúl rey con verde y un poco de amarillo, mezclando estos otros colores con el azul de manera gradual hasta lograr la tonalidad deseada.
Como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo hay que hacer la parte superior delgada y la parte en donde están los pies un poco mas gruesa, vamos como si fueran zapatos de payaso.
After having the feet ready, it was time to make the body, which reminds me a lot of the shape of an onion; in fact, I think Oddish is inspired by this, by an onion.
Anyway, first a small sphere is made and then it is made a little smaller at the top and wider at the bottom.
Después de tener listos los pies, tocó hacer el cuerpo, que me recuerda mucho a la forma de una cebolla; de hecho, creo que Oddish está inspirado en esto, en una cebolla.

After making more legs and the body it is simply a matter of joining more pieces together.
You have to be very careful with the legs, so as to place them in the right place so that it achieves balance and can stand upright, as shown in the photo.

Hay que tener mucho cuidado con las piernas, de manera de colocarlas en el lugar adecuado para que logré el equilibrio y pueda mantenerse de pie, tal cómo se observa en la foto.
The face is relatively simple to make compared to other figurines I have made.
For example the eyes are made with two small red dots, which you have to squash a little. Then smaller white dots are made and placed in the center of each eye.
For the mouth I used black plasticine. I only used a very small piece that I stretched to the point of making a small thin black line, from which I cut only a small piece to glue it between the eyes, a little lower than the eyes.
La cara es relativamente sencilla de hacer en comparación con otras figuritas que he hecho.
Por ejemplos los ojos se hacen con dos pequeños puntitos rojos, los cuales hay que aplastar un poco. Después se hacen puntitos blancos más pequeños que se colocan en el centro de cada ojo.
Para la boca usé plastilina de color negro. Solo usé un trocito muy pequeño que estiré al punto de hacer una pequeña y delgada línea negra, de la cuál corte solo un trocito para pegarlo entre los ojos, un poco más abajo que estos.
The last thing I did was to make the leaves that Oddish has on its head.
As I said at the beginning, Oddish reminds me a lot of an onion, because these also have leaves on the top.
In total I made six leaves, three for the front and two that are in the background.
Lo último que hice fue hacer las hojas que tiene Oddish en la cabeza.
Tal cómo dije al comienzo, Oddish me recuerda mucho a una cebolla, porque estas tienen también hojas en la parte superior.
En total hice seis hojas, tres para la parte delantera y dos que están en segundo plano.
Using a little glue, the leaves were glued on top of Oddish's head.
This is how this figurine was finished.
