We are all aware that the animals in the wild consume raw and unprocessed meats, but that is okay for them because nature makes it so, for animals who have become domesticated, I do not think that raw meats or food is safe for their consumption.

A scary part of aging is the reality of eventual death, we know as we consistently get older, it is almost inevitable that we won't die eventually. This same reality holds for our canine friend, regardless of how lovely, friendly, or amazing they are, their eventual departure is almost inevitable. 

Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia are regions that are affected strongly by the deadly hemorrhagic fevers. It is a tick-borne zoonotic disease, a viral disease caused by the CCHF virus of the genus Nairovirus family. 

Pandemics happen everywhere and in different regions, the fact that humans and animals live in the same environment means there would be a situation of shared bacteria, viruses, fungi, and even parasites. Although, not all microbes create disease in animals or people, studying the control of infectious disease in humans, can provide us with the knowledge required for the control of disease in animals and in humans too.

It's so funny how so many things we are bothered about as humans can also affect our pets, but most times we just do not take them very seriously. I believe that, if we begin to learn about these infections, diseases, and sicknesses can also affect our pets as much as they affect us, we will be able to handle situations even better.
