This week we're spending a couple of days in the Champagne region of France. We're staying on a campsite at lake D'Oriënt which is a great base for trips in the region. One of the trips we made this week was to the city of Troyes.

The storyThe story begins with Frances Adams who visits a fortune teller on a local fair with two friends back in 1965. She gets told that one day she’ll be murdered. Her friend laugh it away, but Frances becomes obsessed with it. In the following years she keeps an eye on all inhabitants of her small British town which isn’t always appreciated by everyone.

Hive Photography ContestsThere are a lot of cool photography contest on Hive. A lot of them are organized weekly. Some of them have the same or recurring themes where others have new subjects every week. It's fun to compete in them and you can even win some upvotes, Hive or other tokens.

This week the subject fort the #POBPhotocontest are sunset or sunrise photos. I really love those. During the so-called golden (or blue) hours the colors in the sky can be magnificent.If you go out for a shot for the contest, then take your time for it. Ar least make sure you get a straight horizon.

As expected; flowers is a subject many of you like. And it shows by the number of contestants that joined the #POBPhotocontest this week; 18 in total! Because of eastern we had an extra long weekend last week. The kids had a day off from school and my wife and I from work. We wanted to do something together, but that can be quite hard with teenagers that mostly like shopping. When we said we were going to combine a visit to a castle with the visit to a city they weren't too enthusiastic about one part of that idea. You might guess which part.
