REPETITIONThe theme for this weeks Friendlymoose Photocontest is REPETITION. Repetition in photography is when the same element, like a shape, object, or pattern appears multiple times in a photo. This can create a pleasing visual pattern. Think of windows on a building, rows of trees, tiles or patterns in the sand.
This was the first round of the newly renamed photocontest. It used to be the POBPhotocontest, but I rebranded it to the Friendlymoose Photocontest. This fresh new start needed some fresh photographs, which you all send in for this round. Thanks for joining: @alfrin @cryptozeug @damelysh @hetty-rowan @itz.inno @iuliaqiparosa @jacoalberts @luchyl @manuelgil64 @qwerrie
One week ago I created the following blog: How to increase engagement on Hive (and specifically on photography posts)! In this blog, I pointed out that engagement and interaction on Hive are very important, especially among photographers on Hive.
Despite living in an urban area there are quite a lot of different parks in our neighborhood. As I like to go for walks I always try to go to one of these parks, just to be in a bit of a green environment. Apart from the positive physical aspect of walking, a walk in nature also is good for your mental wellbeing. Studies show that people who spend time in nature have lower levels of cortisol, the stress hormone.
News!Hello photography lovers! We have some great news about some new, renewed and restarted photocontests. @suteru started two new contests in the Lifescape Tribe recently (Nightphotography and Colors). @stresskiller restarted his Photo-Essay contest @powerpaul started a photocontest with the subject music And I rebranded my Pobphotocontest to the Friendlymoose Photocontest!
Rebranding the #POBPhotocontest!I've been running the #POBPhotocontest for quite a long time already. There have been rounds over the past years. I started this contest in the Proof of Brain community, which was just started up itself. The idea behind the contest was to get more activity in the Proof of Brain community. For a while the community was very active, but later on it became less and less. Domain names have not been renewed and there is no activity in the Discord channel anymore as well. This POB project seems to have died. All the time I kept running the POBPhotocontest, mainly because it was known to many Hivers. I also rewarded POB tokens to the winners of the contest.
