The time has finally come: Yesterday the latest @splinterlands card expansion, Conclave Arcana, was released! The release went almost without a hitch and some packs have already been opened. Of course, this also means that some Black Foils and Arcane Foils have already been drawn. If I understood correctly, there were even times when Midnight Potios were no longer available on the market, which increases the chance of getting a Black Foil card.

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to the my weekly HSBI giveaway for the Splinterlands community! The pre-sale of Conclave Arcana ended yesterday and I think it was relatively successful. But for those who missed the pre-sale, don't worry: the general sale starts in a few days and as far as I know, the Modern rotation will take place after this season. This means that the Conclave Arcana packs can be opened and the cards can be played in Modern. Chaos Legion will no longer be playable in Modern. In my opinion, this all happened very quickly, I'm curious to see how the meta will develop. It is also worth mentioning that last week a very special promo card was announced with “Archmage Yabaniuis”, which is modeled after the co-founder Yabapmatt. A cool story, you don't see that in many video games!

In every card set of Splinterlands, there are cards that stand out because they are so incredibly strong. I wouldn't necessarily say that they are overpowered, but they are very good in battles and are used frequently. In Untamed there were two summoners or archons, Yodin Zaku and Scarred Llama Mage, and in Chaos Legion cards like Deeplurker and Cursed Windeku. There are also cards like these in the Rebellion expansion. I was finally able to buy one of them a few days ago: Venka the Vile! 😍

Last week there was a somewhat larger update, and that was the previously announced Midnight Potions, which are supposed to increase the chance of Black Foils when opening packs, were introduced to the game. They work in a similar way to Alchemy Potions, but can only be produced using resources from land production. I think that's super interesting and great news for all land owners. This means that the final price of Midnight Potions will be determined by the community. I would also like to mention that the Conclave Arcana pre-sale ends at the end of this week. So if you still want to stock up on packs during the pre-sale, you should definitely do so.

It's that time again: today is the first of the month, in this case May 1st, and so today is the monthly Hive Power Up Day.Over the past month, I've been doing a lot of Hive-related things. For example, I've finally found the time to do some research on @poshtoken and @redditposh and have recently started sharing my blogs, and other blogs worth reading, on Reddit. The aim behind this is to make new people aware of Hive, thereby expanding our community. You also get a small reward in the form of Hive if your shared posts are well received on Reddit and get a lot of interactions.

But I don't think that's a bad thing, it gave you an extra day to participate. As far as I know, there was no other news worth mentioning regarding Splinterlands last week. The presale of Conclave Arcana is still running for about 12 days. In the meantime, the stats of the Conclave Arcana cards have been published in the Splinterlands Discord in the Eye-Candy Channel. I don't know if they are all the ones that are already known, but there are definitely a lot of them. But don't forget that the stats of the cards are not final and can still change.
