Bycicle Trip up and down the danube - Exploring the Nature

Today in the morning I decided to go on a bycicle trip to do a little workout for myself. I carried my camera with the long lens in my backback with me in case i find some interesting wildlife there but I didn't use it because of the "bad" weather there was not much wildlife so I used my smartphone camera for some pictures that seemed to be interesting for me instead. Now I am a little exhausted since the last kilometers I was already a little hungry before I got home where I perpared something to eat. This time i was smart and drove upwards the stream first and on my way back of course downwards the stream so the hardest part would already be behind me at the middle of the route.

One of my first little stops was this "Hedgehogs Home Sweet Home" sign that I had to photography beacuse of the beautiful idea.

Then I stopped at various other interesting parts of the trail and took some pictures. One of these is this boat exhibition with an stranded old boat near the market community of Ottensheim. Then there were some beaver signs in the forrest near the danube and of course I looked for birds on several sandbanks and spots that I usually use for birdphotography but this time the weather was probably not good enough for the birds to come out. I heard several birds but most of them were in the forrest where I couldn't find them. The sandbanks were completely empty, some seagull were flying above the water power plant, but this was not really interesting for me so I drove by.

For some more serious bird photography I need a little bit better weather and might need to wait still one or two weeks until more birds are back from the bird migration. After all I have to say that it was a pretty nice day till now and I had some good amount of activity to power out myself.
