Today's a public holiday in South Africa, but as I said here, it's been a normal working day for me. Sort of.
Firstly, after two days of scrabbling around my dreadfully ancient laptop whose brain decided to go on strike, and bothering the hell out of @thekittygirl among others in the Hive Keychain Discord, and a good night's sleep, and a hard reboot - yes it's a long sentence, and yes, take a breath! - things righted themselves.
To @thekittygirl -- and to the Hive Key Chain team (please let them know?) --
In time for a meeting to discuss this new initiative. An art walk for the village. More than that I cannot share. Yet. I am part of the backroom team writing and doing the Scottish thing to make sure that the numbers jive. It's where I'm comfortable.
Let's just say that as things unfold, you will hear about them as we lead up to the weekend in October - 20 - 22 to be precise. So, if you're in South Africa and interested in local art, save the date and watch this space for more updates.
That is a long explanation about why this post is short of anything material!
Oh, and if you're wondering: no further update on D's condition. I'm waiting on news. Now, I am hoping that it is a case of no news is, sort of, good news.
Post script: I am trying to participate in @traciyork's April #HiveBloPoMo. I emphasise trying because RL - and my day job - have been so busy over the last while that I've not known which way to turn. That shouldn't stop you - or anyone. Read about how to participate here.
This is Day 10
Until next time, be well Fiona The Sandbag House McGregor, South Africa
If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
