Hello everyone good morning. If you have been playing Steemmonsters as of lately then you most likely came across this error.
It looks like the Steem Monsters node is behind on blocks! Please reload the page in a few minutes to see if the transaction has gone through.
This error message appears almost every time you try to do a transaction on Steemmonsters.com. This has caused a lot of inconvenience for sure. Here are some of the issues I noticed personally.
People find it 'more difficult' to complete their daily quest because they don't have a chance to play-I didn't even get to play a single match in my fire splinter quest yesterday. And I say 'more difficult' because Steemmonster already has a matchmaking problem where players get matched up unfairly with other players who are very high rank.
New players who bought starter sets to get in on the action is greeted by this unwelcoming message as well. This is definitely a bad first impression for them, wouldn't you agree?
There haven't been any official updates from
@steemmonsters about this issue yet that I'm aware of. This is poor customer service in my opinion because people have been posting about this issue for about 2 days now, including myself and still no response. I made a post about this almost immediately when I first got the error message. Check it

Also since no official statement was made my
@steemmonsters about this issue it leaves a lot of room for users to speculate and spread rumors, which is not good publicity for
@steemmonsters and worse for steem as the price of steem is trading at it's lowest the last time I checked.
So, is Steemmonsters broken? I don't know but something needs fixing. And if
@steemmonsters developers are unsure what the problem is and need more time to investigate the issue, then at least make a public announcement to reassure users that someone is hard at work trying to fix this issue. It's the right thing to do.
That's is my 2 cents on this matter right now. I hope Steemmonster recover from this issue as quickly as possible before things snowball out of control.

@aggroed discord that the 'server is back' . It seems this had something to do with the error message we'av been getting. After he posted this message, I was able to play 3 Steemmonsters battle without encountering the annoying pop-up message. Leave a comment if you're able to play now without any issues.
