Markor is a mobile text editor for Android. Its an open source app and pretty stable. It allows you to take notes quickly with a rich environment it provides. It can work offline. No personal data or device info is shared and it requires no unnecessary privilleges to do unwanted data sharing. So its a privacy concerned application. It supports open formats. It has an automatic saving option so that in any condition what you wrote is saved securely. You can save your file in many formats including pdf and html. It also supports Markdown format which we use on STEEMIT. By the way this text is written on Markor app also. You can send what you wrote to the other apps with few touches.

You can undo/redo which is crucial for editing. Its a lightweight app so it doesnt suck your device's battery life and ram power. ----

Hyperlinks or inserting photos are supported.
