Old car festivals are usually held between spring and late autumn as no one likes to bring out these valuable beauties when there's ankle deep snow or rain, let alone go to an exhibition in these weather conditions.

In theory, I still have a couple of months till the first one is held, which is why I should hurry and post my remaining photos as I still have some from 2024 and 2025.
This is a Dacia, a Romanian make and model that was built based on a Renault model. For decades, these cars were mostly what you could buy, if you wanted a brand new car, but even so, the waiting list was long and could take years to get a car. Today these cars and models are considered oldies as production has been stopped decades ago.
A Chevrolet Corvette I believe, but don't bite my head off as I don't master this area of life at all :D
An old Mercedes model, which is very sought after these days and expensive too.
This Audi model doesn't seem so old, you can see them running on a daily bases, so it may accidentally got in line, or who knows.
This is a Citroën DS, but I must admit, I'm using a bit of help in identifying the cars as I have no clue. Thanks to technology, we can do that today easily and only the lazy ones don't take advantage of it.
The Citroën DS (French pronunciation: [si.tʁɔ.ɛn de.ɛs]) is a front mid-engined, front-wheel drive executive car manufactured and marketed by Citroën from 1955 to 1975, in fastback/sedan, wagon/estate, and convertible body configurations, across a single generation comprising three series.
This car had German plates, so it'd be interesting to know if they came from Germany for the event or not. Most likely that was the case as this car is not designed for traveling thousands of kilometers today, or should I say standards are 100 times higher these days.
A BMW this time. Looking at these cars made me think that some makes and models have two lives, two marvelous lives. Some of them are loved and sold at a high price when they are new and then they have the same faith, when they are old. This BMW was really expensive and considered a luxury car when it was in its prime and it is the same today.
For the car owners, this is not just an obsession, it is more like a way of life. Not once I've heard them talking about how they have repaired certain parts, how they have replaced different items. That love is unique and you can't compete with it. It's a way of life that costs a lot of money, but for them it's everything. Some have several cars and enjoy participating in these events, to show off, literally.
I know we have quite a large number of users from South America, where people have old cars, but for different reasons. For them, I need to specify that these car owners have several cars and these oldtimers are not for everyday use, just for a ride here and there and for exhibitions and oldtimer meetings.
As I mentioned, old cars in Cuba and Venezuela, maybe different models, but still old. The difference is, they use it because there's no possibility to buy a newer, better one. It is sad, but that's how things stand.
The funny thing is, a few decades ago, these were the card in vogue, these models were now. Life has changed since then and the cars we have available today are not just totally different, but superior in every aspect.
Most of people got rid of their old car, by selling it, or dropping it at the car graveyard, for a voucher you can use to buy a new one. Some were smart and kept the car in good condition. Now they can make a nice profit in case they sell it, or they can be a proud oldtimer owner at every exhibition or meeting. You need to have a sense of knowing what is going to age well and what won't. It can make you rich.
I don't know who's going to read my post, but I hope there will be a few car lovers and enthusiasts, and also hope some of you can recognize a few models. Maybe there will be someone who actually owned one or maybe several models? Let me know in a comment.
