Kindle Pre-Orders Begin Now!
The day I’ve been waiting for for the past five months is finally here—the Kindle (eBook) version of my newest book is available for presale on Amazon.
The softcover version of the book will be available for sale on Amazon May 22nd.
As promised, I’m posting this announcement here on Hive first and am heavily promoting Hive (with QR code inside the book for easy onboarding). I really hope this helps drive more people to this amazing platform that has provided so much to so many.

The poems within Poems from the Edge of the Apocalypse, like the poppy gracing its cover, serve both as a warning and a requiem. The poppy—an ancient symbol of remembrance and the sleep of death—is also among the first blooms to rise from the ashes of devastation. It speaks of loss, but also of renewal, of the quiet persistence of life after catastrophe.
As we stand on the threshold of a new epoch—where artificial general intelligence threatens to either unravel, radically redefine, or miraculously preserve the essence of humanity—these poems ask us to pause, reflect, and remember. In an age accelerating toward machine consciousness, never has forethought, empathy, and hope been more essential.
On the brink of a post-human world, the poppy becomes more than a symbol; it is a plea not to forget what makes us human: the beauty in our fragility, the poetry of our impermanence, the soulful complexity of our emotions. As the line blurs between organic and artificial, Poems from the Edge of the Apocalypse stands as a quiet resistance—a reminder that even in a future shaped by algorithms, our soft, fallible, beautifully flawed humanity still matters.
I’d like to thank everyone who's supported me throughout the arduous process of publishing this book. This day is the culmination of four years of writing. As always, the Hive community has been an invaluable creative incubator for this project and I wish more authors would recognize/utilize the immense value and power of this platform.
I’ve launched my last four books here on this blockchain. The self-publishing process can be challenging (to say the least) and words of encouragement and support go a long way to provide the extra “nudge” necessary to coax me across that finish line.
Can I ask for one more favor?
If you purchase a copy can you please leave a review on Amazon?
This helps with sales more than you can imagine.
So, here we go again Hiveans! THANK YOU. My fingers are crossed and I'm off to celebrate this moment.
