Greetings to the spookiest community on Hive. This is my contribution to January's initiative: **Dimensions or parallel universes**

I don't know if I'm on time for the initiative, but please understand that in my dimension, time and space do not exist. So it's very difficult for me to calculate the year, month, day, and hour in which you live in your world.

However, in the plane where I now live, there are too many letters, far too many letters. Yes, you are right to be scared... here I leave thousands and thousands of those letters, the ones that are superfluous in my world.

Since deep down, very deep down, I am a merciful being, I am also leaving a very brief version of the publication. If you follow the images, you will find some fragments of a unique recording: my entry into the plane from which I write and publish on Hive.

If you are wondering how these images were recorded and how they came to me, that is another story.

In any case, I'll be staying on this plane for about two or three days, so I'll see you again when I get back. 😃

I invite two young Hivers to participate, although I don't know if they are interested in the paranormal world: @angeluxx, @suisver.

I will not answer the questions one by one, but I believe that this text answers most of the questions raised in the initiative.

I want to make it clear from the outset that I have no interest in what science has to say on this matter. The reasons are as follows: science is just one form of knowledge, not all knowledge is found in science, and given the focus of this publication, I will be investigating the existence of universes that science does not consider within its fields of study.

The fact that science does not study a phenomenon does not mean that it does not exist. This should be obvious, and I will not dwell on this point any further. I will just leave this note for now and approach the search for other worlds from the perspective of psychotherapy, a field of knowledge so broad and heterogeneous that it allows for this type of study.

Desconozco si llego a tiempo para la inicitiva, comprendan que en mi dimensión no existe el tiempo ni el espacio. De tal manera que me resulta muy complicado calcular año, mes, día y hora en la que habitan en su mundo.

Sin embargo, en el plano en el que ahora habito sobran las letras, sobran muchas letras. Si, haces bien en asustarte... aquí dejo miles y miles de esas letras, de esas que sobran en mi mundo.

Como en el fondo, muy en el fondo, soy un ser piadoso también dejo una versión muy breve de la publicación. Si sigues las imágenes te encontrarás con algunos fragmentos de una grabación única: mi entrada en el plano desde el que escribo y publico hoy en Hive.

Si te preguntas cómo se grabaron estas imágenes y como llegaron a mí, esa es otra historia.

En todo caso, permaneceré por este plano unos dos o tres días, nos volvemos a ver a mi regreso. 😃

No daré respuesta a las preguntas una por una, pero creo que en el presente texto se da respuesta a la mayoría de las preguntas planteadas en la iniciativa.

Voy a dejar claro desde este momento que no tengo ningún interés por lo que la ciencia pueda decir respecto a esta cuestión. Los motivos son los siguientes: la ciencia es sólo un saber más, no todo el conocimiento se encuentra en la ciencia, y por el enfoque de esta publicación, indagaré sobre la existencia de universos que la ciencia no contempla desde sus campos de estudio.

Que la ciencia no estudie un fenómeno no quiere decir que éste no exista, ésto debería ser obvio y no me voy a extender más en este punto. Sólo dejo este apunte por ahora, me aproximaré a la búsqueda de otros mundos desde la psicoterapia. Un saber tan amplio y heterogéneo que permite este tipo de estudio.

El alma // The soul

Since the dawn of humanity, there have probably been many beliefs in the existence of other worlds. Among these beliefs is that of the existence of the soul.

Belief in the soul is inseparable from the idea that two worlds exist: one material and the other spiritual, which gives life to matter.

In a way, psychotherapy is an heir to this belief, although the psyche (the soul) of psychotherapy is, in principle, very different from that of the Greeks (of classical Greece) and other cultures.

For the Greeks, the psyche (as they referred to the soul) was nothing more than an ego that dwells within us. A double, or a second self, “visible” in those experiences in which it seems that something separates from the body, such as in dreams or mystical experiences.

For Pindar, in the words of Erwin Rodhe, the soul would be an image that comes from the gods. When the body is awake, the image sleeps, but when the body sleeps, the image is activated. At that moment, the image reveals the future to the sleeper.

For Heraclitus, the soul lives caged in the body until it is freed by death. Human beings die when the soul leaves the body, beginning a new cycle of life. The body becomes fertilizer, while the soul is transformed.

The soul that was fire becomes water; water is transformed into earth; from the earth, water emerges again, and from water, a new soul is born. Therefore, for Heraclitus, the soul is not the immortal essence of a person, but something in constant transformation.

For the last part of this publication, dedicated to transpersonal psychology, the notion found in The Upanishads is the most interesting:

7.What is the Atma? Perception in the senses (the breaths), inner light in the heart, that Being, always similar to itself, travels through both worlds. It seems to think, it seems to stir (like a flame), for in sleep, it goes beyond our world and beyond the forms of death.

That being, in truth, when it enters a body at birth, is burdened with evils; when it escapes from it, the body dies, and it is freed from evils.

Desde el nacimiento de la humanidad probablemente han existido múltiples creencias en la existencia de otros mundos. Dentro de estas creencias se encuentra la de la existencia del alma.

La creencia en el alma es inseparable de la idea de que dos mundos existen: uno material y otro espiritual que da vida a la materia.

De alguna forma, la psicoterapia es una heredera de esta creencia, aunque la psiche (el alma) de la psicoterapia, en principio, sea muy diferente a la de los griegos (de la Grecia clásica) y a la de otras culturas.

Para los griegos la psiche (como se referían al alma) no era otra cosa que un yo que habita dentro de nosotros. Un doble, o un segundo yo, “visible” en esas experiencias en las que parece que algo se separa del cuerpo como en los sueños o en las experiencias místicas.

Para Pindaro, en palabras de Erwin Rodhe, el alma sería una imagen que procede de los dioses. Cuando el cuerpo está despierto la imagen duerme, pero cuando el cuerpo duerme la imagen se activa. Momento en el que la imagen revela el futuro al durmiente.

Para Heráclito, el alma vive enjaulada en el cuerpo hasta que se libera con la muerte. Los seres humanos fallecemos cuando el alma abandona el cuerpo iniciándose un nuevo ciclo de la vida. El cuerpo se convierte en abono, mientras que el alma se transforma.

El alma que era fuego, se convierte en agua; el agua se transforma en tierra; de la tierra vuelve a surgir el agua y del agua nace un alma nueva. Por tanto, para Heráclito el alma no sería la esencia inmortal de una persona, sino algo en permanente transformación.

Para la última parte de esta publicación, dedicada a la psicología transpersonal, la noción que se encuentra en Los Upanishads es la más interesante:

7.¿Qué es el Atma? Percepción en los sentidos (los alientos) luz interior en el corazón, ese Ser, siempre semejante a sí mismo, recorre los dos mundos. Parece que piensa, parece que se agita (como una llama), pues en el sueño, va más allá de nuestro mundo y más allá de las formas de muerte.

Ese ser, en verdad, cuando, al nacer un cuerpo, entra en él, se carga de males; cuando al escaparse de él, muere el cuerpo, se libra de los males.

What does psychotherapy have in common with the universal belief in the soul?

The first point is the certainty that within every human being there is something we cannot see, even though it influences our daily lives. An organized (or semi-organized) entity (or entities) with its own thoughts and goals.

A second point is the importance of dreams and altered states of consciousness as a way of understanding the psyche or soul.

Therefore, my answer to the first question is yes. Other universes or planes exist. Clinical findings confirm that every person has both an inner world and an outer world. Two worlds or universes that could be said to be separated by a thin boundary: the skin.

The first inner world of interest for this publication is the world of desire (Freud). The universe of the most intimate desires outside of consciousness. It is the universe of the unconscious. A world in which the past manifests itself as an eternal present (and future). For Freud, time does not exist in the unconscious.

We have several ways of accessing the unconscious. One of them is through dreams, altered states of consciousness, and also through its manifestations in everyday life or throughout a person's entire life.

Let's take a film that you probably haven't seen, and may never see, Orson Welles' Citizen Kane (1941). A “success story” builds an empire from nothing. He dies surrounded by every imaginable wealth, yet he dies without having found what he was looking for: happiness.

Although he organized his life for “success” and achieved it, the wealth and power he attained never filled the void left by the loss of his mother.

The “successful” citizen Charles Foster Kane was the victim of an impossible fantasy. He strove to regain the love of someone who was no longer there by trying to be worthy of that love. He wanted to be someone his mother would be proud of. Of course, social success did not bring back his absent mother.

¿Qué tiene en común la psicoterapia con la universal creencia en el alma?

Un primer punto consiste en la certeza de que dentro de cada ser humano hay algo que no vemos, aunque si intervendría en nuestra vida diaria. Una entidad (o entidades) organizada (o semi-organizado) con pensamientos y metas propias.

Un segundo punto es la importancia de los sueños y los estados alterados de conciencia como vía para conocer la psiche o alma.

Por tanto, a la primera pregunta mi respuesta es un sí. Existen otros universos o planos. Desde los hallazgos de la clínica se puede afirmar que para toda persona existe tanto un mundo interior como un mundo exterior. Dos mundos o universos que podría decirse que están separados por una fina frontera: la piel.

El primer mundo interno de interés para esta publicación es el mundo del deseo (Freud). El universo de los anhelos más íntimos y fuera de la conciencia. Es el universo de lo inconsciente. Un mundo en el que el pasado se manifiesta como un eterno presente (y futuro). Para Freud, en el inconsciente no existe el tiempo.

Al inconsciente tenemos varias vías de acceso. Una de ellas es mediante los sueños, los estados alterados de conciencia y también a través de sus manifestaciones sobre lo cotidiano o en toda la línea de vida de una persona.

Tomemos una película que seguramente no has visto, y quizás no veas nunca, Ciudadano kane (1941) de Orson Welles. Un “triunfador” construye un imperio de la nada. Muere rodeado de todas las riquezas imaginables, sin embargo muere sin haber encontrado lo que buscaba: la felicidad.

Aunque organizó su vida para el “triunfo” y lo logró, la riqueza y el poder logrado nunca llenaron el vacío que dejó la pérdida de su madre.

El “triunfador” ciudadano Charles Foster Kane fue víctima de una fantasía imposible. Se esforzó por recuperar el amor de quien ya no estaba tratando de ser merecedor de ese amor. Una persona de la que se sintiera orgullosa su madre. Por supuesto, el triunfo social no recuperó la presencia de la madre ausente.

Charles Foster Kane not only died alone and without finding happiness. He died without knowing what drove his life (or perhaps he understood it in his final moments).

Here we already have some elements found in the unconscious: our emptiness, our wounds, and our deepest desires.

We will now leave the script of Citizen Kane's life to focus on just a few small everyday experiences. In them, we can discover traces of the unconscious.

A migrant enters a café. He has not seen his mother for years. On the counter, he sees a dessert typical of his country, which his mother also used to make. As he savors the sweet treat, it not only satisfies his hunger, but also his longing for his mother. In one bite, the past becomes the present.

Charles Foster Kane, no sólo murió en soledad y sin hallar la felicidad. Murió sin saber cuál fue el motor de su vida (o quizás lo comprendió en los últimos instantes de vida).

Aquí tenemos ya algún elemento que se encuentra el inconsciente: nuestros vacíos, nuestras heridas y nuestros anhelos más profundos.

Dejaremos ahora el guion de vida de Ciudadano Kane para atender sólo a algunas pequeñas vivencias cotidianas. Podremos descubrir en ellas la huella de lo inconsciente.

Una persona migrante entra en una cafetería. Hace años que no ve a su mamá. Sobre la barra ve un postre típico de su país, que también preparaba su mamá. En el momento de saborear el dulce no sólo sacia su hambre, también sacia su anhelo de madre. De un bocado, el pasado se convierte en presente.

If, instead of observing an entire life, or a detail of it, we observe the patterns that repeat themselves, we will also encounter the unconscious.

For example, there are people who choose the same type of partner and whose relationships always end the same way, that is, badly.

Let's take Gestalt as a theoretical framework. A man had a distant mother. As an adult, in an attempt to repair his childhood situation, this imaginary man seeks out cold and distant women in the unconscious hope that this time he will be loved. The result is not surprising; repeating the same thing always ends up producing the same result: frustration. The cold and distant woman does not change, no matter how much love is offered to her.

Si en lugar de observar toda una vida, o un detalle de ella, observamos los patrones que se repiten también nos encontraremos con lo inconsciente.

Por ejemplo, tenemos esas personas que eligen el mismo tipo de pareja y cuyas relaciones siempre terminan igual, es decir, mal.

Tomemos a la Gestalt como marco teórico. Un hombre tuvo una madre distante. De adulto, en un intento de reparación de la situación infantil, ese hombre imaginario busca mujeres frías y distantes con la esperanza, inconsciente, de que esta vez será amado. El resultado no es asombroso, la repetición de lo mismo siempre termina reproduciendo el mismo resultado: la frustración. La mujer fría y distante no cambia por mucho amor que se le ofrezca.

Don't think that the contents of that universe called the unconscious remain there. In addition to unresolved conflicts (gaps, wounds, what was missing, unresolved conflicts, etc.), there are also family mandates.

For example, some parents need their child not to mature in order to feel like “good parents.” The mandate is “don't grow up.” Any progress the child makes toward autonomy is a threat to this mandate. (See: El guion de vida [The Life Script], 2nd ed. José Luis Mrtorell)

Another very negative type of mandate for the child is “don't surpass me,” which in adulthood becomes the mandate “don't succeed,” “don't be successful.” (Ibid)

It is very likely that this type of mandate can be found in those lives marked by so-called “bad luck.”:

How unlucky they are with their partners, despite being such good people; how unlucky they are at work, despite being so conscientious... etc.

These are people who, despite their intelligence, determination, discipline, necessary resources, and opportunities, never quite “make it” or always fall just short of achieving their goals.

Internalized and unconscious mandates carry over into adulthood. However, their expression can be seen in real life.

These types of mandates are fulfilled out of love; it is always preferable to fail than to be alone. Not fulfilling the mandate is betraying the family. “Failure” can help give a sense of belonging, of continuing to be part of the family. In short, we may end up sacrificing our lives unconsciously so as not to be alone.

No creas que el contenido de ese universo llamado inconsciente se queda aquí. Además, junto a los conflictos no resueltos (los vacíos, las heridas, lo que faltó, conflictos no resueltos … ), también se encuentran los mandatos familiares.

Por ejemplo, algunos padres para sentirse “buenos padres” necesitan que su hijo no madure. El mandato es “no crezcas”. Cualquier avance del niño en su autonomía es una amenaza para este mandato. (Ver: El guion de vida 2ªEd. José Luis Martorell)

Otro tipo de mandato muy negativo para el infante es “no me superes” que en la vida adulta se transforma en el mandato “no triunfes”, “no tengas éxito”. (Ibid)

Es muy probable que este tipo de mandatos se pueda encontrar en esas vidas maracadas por la llamada "mala suerte":

Qué mala suerte tiene con sus parejas con lo buena persona que es; qué mala suerte tiene con el trabajo con lo cumplidora que es... etc.

Se trata de esas personas que a pesar de su inteligencia, voluntad, disciplina, los medios necesarios y posibilidades nunca llegan a “triunfar” o siempre se quedan a las puertas de lograr sus metas.

Estos mandatos interiorizados y no conscientes llegan a la vida adulta interiorizados e inconscientes. Aunque se puede apreciar su expresión en la vida real. Este tipo de mandatos se cumplen por amor, siempre es preferible fracasar a quedarse sólo o sola.

No cumplir el mandato es traicionar a la familia. El “fracaso” pude ayudar a dar sentido de pertenencia, a seguir formando parte de la familia. En definitiva, podemos llegar a sacrificar nuestras vidas de forma no consciente para no estar solos o solas.

El universo (o universos) interior / The inner universe (or universes)

I recognized that in the horrors of the previous night I had experienced my own state of egotism. My selfishness had separated me from others and led me to inner loneliness... That, then, was what hell meant: egotism and lack of love.

... I understood that true love means renouncing egocentrism... I had experienced God's grace.

The experience on the shores of the lake has given me the certainty that outside the perishable material world there is an eternal spiritual reality, which is our true homeland.

I imagine an inner world with layers. Some layers are obviously conscious... these layers include our thoughts, conscious desires, memories that we can easily bring to consciousness at any given moment, etc.

A second layer corresponds to the object of study of most schools of psychotherapy. Depending on the therapeutic school, this layer includes childhood desires, the superego and the id, the inner child, forgotten and unintegrated traumatic experiences, fixed ideas, archetypes, family mandates, etc.

Reconocí que en los horrores de la noche pasada había vivido mi propio estado de egolatría. Mi egoísmo me había separado de los hombres y llevado a la soledad interior… Eso, pues, había significado el infierno: egolatría y falta de amor.

Me imagino un mundo interior por capas. Unas capas evidentemente son conscientes… a estas capas pertenecen nuestros pensamientos, deseos conscientes, los recuerdos que podemos traer sin problema a la conciencia en momentos dados, etc.

Una segunda capa se corresponde con el objeto de estudio de la mayor parte de las escuela de psicoterapia. En esta capa se encuentra, según la escuela terapéutica, los deseos infantiles, el super-yo y el ello, el niño o la niña interior, las experiencias traumáticas olvidadas y no integradas, las ideas fijas, los arquetipos, los mandatos familiares, etc.

A third and perhaps fourth layer corresponds to the universe studied by transpersonal psychology.

Dark beings and beings of light live in this deepest layer. It can be a terrible place and at the same time the gateway to the world of the sacred and transcendence.

At least we have many experiences of people who have traveled to this world while experiencing altered states of consciousness.

One of the therapists who has researched these phenomena the most is Groff (at least, one of the most popular in the West). For decades, by inducing altered states of consciousness in his patients through breathing, he has witnessed the emergence of borderline experiences with the transcendent and beyond this limit.

Once the monsters that dwell in the depths of our being recede, when we abandon states of fear and paranoia, the possibility of something new opens up: the possibility of seeing what lies behind the veil.

Entering a place where time ceases to exist. The ego dies, dissolving into the universe and the divine. To inhabit, without inhabiting our physical body, a world of love and light.

The quote at the beginning of this text is an excerpt from the testimony of one of these experiences. Experiences that are later reflected in real life:

Selfless love is what builds the bridge of love to our neighbor.

This is my description of what exists in that inner universe(s). This description is possibly more than incomplete......

Una tercera y quizás cuarta capa se corresponde con el universo que estudia la psicología trans-personal.

En esta capa más profunda viven seres oscuros y seres de luz. Puede ser un lugar terrible y al mismo tiempo la puerta al mundo de lo sagrado y de la transcendencia.

Al menos contamos con muchas experiencias de personas que han viajado a este mundo mientras experimentaban estados alterados de conciencia.

Uno de los terapeutas que más ha investigado estos fenómenos es Groff (al menos, uno de los más populares en Occidente). Durante décadas, provocando estados alterados de conciencia en sus pacientes mediante la respiración, ha sido testigo de la aparición de experiencias límites con lo trascendente y más allá de este límite.

Una vez que los monstruos que habitan en lo más profundo de nuestro ser se alejan, cuando abandonamos los estados de miedo y paranoia, se abre la posibilidad de lo nuevo: de ver lo que esconde el velo.

Entrar en un lugar en el que no existe el tiempo. El ego muere, se diluyen con el universo y con lo divino. Habitar, sin habitar nuestro cuerpo, un mundo de amor y luz.
