I had some problems with this artwork. Not so much for its realization but with regard to the emotional connection with it. 
It took me a while but in the end I managed to feel it was mine.
In this case I used matte tempera to create the vacuum as a background. The two figures, which mean a lot to me, took shape thanks to the soft pastels.
It was a fundamental gift and one of the few for which I studied intensely.
