En este mes de diciembre, no solo mamá (Eli) ha tenido muchas ocupaciones por motivos de la Navidad. Mi hija mayor Ammy, también ha tenido varios eventos y 3 presentaciones donde ha tenido que cantar, esperamos pronto compartir una de ella con todos ustedes.
El día 24 en la mañana fuimos a la iglesia, en esta oportunidad solo Ammy y yo, ella tenía que cantar, ya que mi esposo tenía que hacer algunos panes de jamón aún, que tenía encargados. Así que nosotras dos nos fuimos. Al momento de la presentación de Ammy, la persona que era maestra de ceremonia, solo la llamó a ella, ya que así estaba estipulado, pero un día antes habíamos quedado que Ammy subiría al escenario con otro niño llamado Mathias.
Para entrar en contexto, Mathias es un niño que tiene una discapacidad, ya que está en silla de ruedas y no puede caminar desde muy pequeño, ya tiene 14 años de edad y su deseo desde que vió a Ammy cantando por primera vez, era cantar con ella y se lo había comentado, así que un día antes de la presentación, Ammy recordó esto y me lo dijo para que hiciéramos posible que él también subiera al escenario con ella.
Al subir a presentarse y como solo la llamaron a ella, Mathias tenía su cara algo triste desde el público, pero Ammy nos dió a todos una muestra de amor y empatía, saludó a todos diciendo: "Buenos días, hoy quiero cantar está canción con mi amigo Mathias, ¡Mathias ven!". Y en ese momento todo el público aplaudió con emoción, mientras el papá de Mathias y otros lo ayudaban a subir al escenario junto a ella. Más orgullosa de mi hija no pude sentirme.
Le pregunté a Ammy por qué era tan especial con Mathias y su respuesta fue la siguiente: Él es mi amigo y es igual a mí aunque no pueda caminar, además yo quisiera que todos tratarán así a Amelie (su hermana - mi hija, quien es autista).

At the time of Ammy's presentation, the person who was the master of ceremony, only called her, as it was stipulated, but a day before we had agreed that Ammy would go on stage with another child named Mathias.
To get into context, Mathias is a boy who has a disability, since he is in a wheelchair and cannot walk since he was very young, he is already 14 years old and his desire since he saw Ammy singing for the first time, was to sing with her and I had told him about it, so a day before the presentation, Ammy remembered this and told me so that we could make it possible for him to go on stage with her.
When she went up to perform and as she was the only one who was called, Mathias had a sad face from the audience, but Ammy gave us all a show of love and empathy, she greeted everyone saying: "Good morning, today I want to sing this song with my friend Mathias, Mathias come! And at that moment the whole audience applauded with excitement, while Mathias' dad and others helped him to get on stage with her. I couldn't have felt prouder of my daughter.
I asked Ammy why she was so special with Mathias and her answer was the following: He is my friend and he is just like me even though he can't walk, and I wish everyone would treat Amelie (her sister - my daughter, who is autistic) like that.
