Hoy, hablaremos de los libros prohibidos, aquellos textos que parecen gritar muerte,placeres o desgracias desde las sombras, clamando por ser descubiertos… o temidos.

Por siglos, ciertos textos han sido considerados peligrosos, ocultos del ojo público. Quizás sus palabras revelan secretos capaces de derrumbar imperios o desafiar las creencias que nos sostienen. O tal vez, su única maldición es enfrentarnos a lo desconocido.
Los libros o escritos prohibidos han sido tema de conversación durante siglos. ¿Por qué? ¿Qué verdades incómodas o conocimientos olvidados esconden?, ¿Cuál será la verdadera razón para no hacerlos públicos?, Quizás sus palabras revelan secretos capaces de derrumbar imperios o desafiar las creencias que nos sostienen. Tirando años de engaños detrás del "circo" que conocemos como iglesia o otras entidades como la NASA, o simplemente porque su contenido incómodo. Quizás estoy exagerando... o tal vez no.
¿Qué libros prohibidos conocen?
En lo personal, los libros prohibidos que he escuchado mencionar, o que lo fueron en algún momento, son los llamados apócrifos. Estos textos, escritos en la antigüedad, tienen relevancia en la historia del cristianismo, pero fueron descartados por la Iglesia por no cumplir ciertos "requisitos". ¿O quizás porque no contribuían a mantener límites y controlar a la sociedad?
De estos libros apócrifos, muchos jamás vieron la luz, ya que la propia Iglesia los condenó y mandó a incinerar. Todos conocemos cómo dicha organización maneja (y ha manejado) sus secretos, así que no les estoy contando una mentira.
Entre los más conocidos y que recuerdo están el Libro de Enoc y el Evangelio de María Magdalena.
(¡Y obviamente los de la biblioteca de la casa de mi abuela, que hace poco me entere de que habían libros de inglés! 😂).
¿Cuál les parece más impactante?
Personalmente, no he leído ninguno de los dos (no soy muy fan de la lectura), pero el que más me intriga es el de Enoc. Recuerdo que habla sobre la rebeldía de los ángeles, cómo enseñaron a los humanos ciertos conocimientos y cómo ocurrió algo similar a la colonización en América (y no me refiero al robo de minerales, jajaja).
Sobre el Evangelio de María Magdalena, no recuerdo mucho. Solo sé que existe😅.
¿Son falsos o reales?
El Libro de Enoc ha ganado relevancia en los últimos años gracias a la globalización, permitiendo que más personas accedan a él. Por otro lado, el Evangelio de María Magdalena tiene menos aceptación, ya que al parecer fue escrito mucho tiempo después de los eventos que narra, lo que cuestiona su autenticidad.
¿Cómo pueden influir en la sociedad?
En una sociedad cada vez más agnóstica (como su servidor), estos textos permiten reinterpretar historias que hemos escuchado o leído toda la vida. También exponen cómo las religiones o sectas suelen ocultar información para proteger sus intereses (y eso no me agrada). Esto me recuerda al secreto más preciado: ¿Por qué no se habla abiertamente sobre la existencia de los ovnis?

Al ser libros tan antiguos, lo místico o paranormal que los rodeaba se ha perdido con el tiempo. Antes se decía que leerlos podía invocar a demonios o atraer "maldiciones", pero hoy en día su lectura no va más allá de la curiosidad histórica.
¿Por qué los prohibieron?
Actualmente, no pueden ser prohibidos, ya que el internet los ha hecho accesibles. Esto es el "problema" o la ventaja de la globalización: la información encuentra formas de filtrarse.
¿Han tenido alguna experiencia personal?
La única vez que me prohibieron leer un libro fue en una librería durante mi infancia. ¿Adivinan cuál era? 😏 (spoiler: de grande encontré uno y no fue la gran cosa). Fuera de eso, cuando quiero un libro, sé dónde buscarlo… 👀

Considerar que algún libro está prohibido hoy en día es limitarse a uno mismo. Internet nos brinda acceso a millones de textos que alguna vez fueron restringidos. Sin embargo, no olvidemos que hay organizaciones (como la Iglesia) que todavía ocultan escritos bajo la premisa de que no son "aptos" para la población. El verdadero misterio ahora no es solo lo que contienen… sino lo que podrían despertar en nosotros, los escritos que no han visto la luz.

Perhaps their words uncover secrets that could bring down empires or challenge the beliefs we’ve been taught. Stripping away years of deception from the "circus" we know as the church or other entities like NASA—or maybe it’s just because their content is unsettling. Maybe I’m exaggerating… or maybe not.
What forbidden books do you know of?
Personally, the forbidden books I’ve heard of—or that were once considered such—are the so-called apocryphal texts. These writings from antiquity hold significance in Christian history but were dismissed by the Church for not meeting certain "criteria." Or maybe because they didn’t contribute to maintaining societal boundaries and control.
Of these apocryphal books, many never saw the light of day because the Church itself condemned them and ordered them burned. We all know how this organization manages (and has managed) its secrets, so I’m not telling you anything new.
Among the most well-known ones I can recall are the Book of Enoch and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene.
(And obviously the books in my grandma’s house library, which I recently found out included English books! 😂).
Which one do you find more impactful?
Personally, I haven’t read either of them (I’m not much of a reader), but the one that intrigues me the most is the Book of Enoch. I remember it talks about the rebellion of angels, how they taught humans certain knowledge, and how something similar to the colonization of America happened (and no, I’m not referring to mineral theft, haha).
As for the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, I don’t remember much. I just know it exists. 😅

In an increasingly agnostic society (like yours truly), these texts allow us to reinterpret stories we’ve heard or read all our lives. They also expose how religions or sects often hide information to protect their interests (which doesn’t sit well with me). This reminds me of the most precious secret: why isn’t there open discussion about the existence of UFOs?
Do you know any paranormal stories related to these books?
Since these books are so old, the mystical or paranormal aura surrounding them has been lost over time. It was once said that reading them could summon demons or bring about "curses," but nowadays their reading doesn’t go beyond historical curiosity.
Why were they banned?
Today, they can’t be banned, as the internet has made them accessible. This is the "problem"—or the advantage—of globalization: information finds ways to leak out.
Have you had any personal experiences?
The only time I was forbidden to read a book was in a bookstore during my childhood. Can you guess which one it was? 😏 (Spoiler: I found one as an adult, and it wasn’t a big deal). Other than that, when I want a book, I know where to find it… 👀
