Nature Rules and Other Thoughts

The gentlest of breezes carry the seeds of the dandelion across the lawn, far and away from the arms of his mother. It is with childish delight that I watch, holding closely a ritual, the magical wish that is embedded in my soul. Eyes closed tight, I slip a little wish in, sending it on its way - one of the many pleasures of my youth.

Do you know the secret handshake of this ritual?

*Carried by the wind. Oh, that is the way I would like to be. What an extraordinary flight that would be! I watch as it comes apart, dispersing in all directions... a free fall of sorts. Fly away! Fly away! Fly away, all!*

The sun’s rays touch down and color me grateful. There is comfort in sharing as all lines of thought lead to the warmth of this feeling. My world has been colored with love, and so, I pass this sentiment on to you, my friend – to pass it on to another and another, until one day, we will have decorated the world.

Happy are those that rain sunshine down upon another — at the corner of sunshine and happiness.

LAVENDER
The flight of the bumblebee! How I love the intensity of its movement, flitting from flower to flower, zigging and zagging, hunting and gathering the pollen and nectar, both found in the lavender plants.

"Flight of the Bumblebee" runs at a frantic pace, with uninterrupted runs of chromatic notes. The range of notes and pitch on display doesn’t pose much of a challenge for musicians, although moving them quickly enough to match the pace can prove to be a daunting task. A great deal of skill is required to perform this complex bit, which has been more evident in various renditions throughout popular culture.
It also ended up being a popular piece for guitarists, who use it to display their technical prowess. The original version was meant to utilize violins, although various guitar versions have surfaced throughout the years. However, there isn’t any master version singlehandedly for guitar. Its popularity is down to the fact that few players can resist the challenge to delve into fast-paced music. The composer wanted to create a musical picture portraying of a bee buzzing around at break-neck speed, which he successfully achieved. Most renditions are performed at “lightning-fast speeds,” playing right into the hands of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. source

We have it so good. We enjoy it so much. We express it so little. It can make your heart shine like the stars in the universe. The most beautiful feeling in the world. Tulips, long gone, but never forgotten. Their beauty is legendary. Flowers. Always. To color my world. Always a flower. #alwaysaflower❤️

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
